Is IPv6 a botnet?

Is IPv6 a botnet?

no

(You)

IPv6 will allow precision tracking

That's what I was thinking. Sites you visit will know what specific device accessed it, not that one of many devices behind a NAT did

>Every device on the Internet is assigned a unique IP address for identification and location definition.
holy fuck....

IPv4 allows for supremely bloated routing tables and no direct connections.

tracking is a much bigger concern imo

lol who's going to track you? facebook and google? microsoft? stop using them then, dipshit.

>stop using them
They are everywhere

>uses the Internet
>is concerned about tracking
What did he mean by this?

you could just block them entirely.

>what are Privacy Extensions
It's not the protocol's fault if your meme distribution (or Internet of Crap device, if it supports IPv6 at all) doesn't enable them by default.
With a sufficiently short address rotation, you can be tracked by your /64 prefix only as reliably as by your external IPv4 address.

Why do you guys care so much about being tracked?

...

Femanon here.
Why did we skip IPV5 and go straight to IPV6?

You are weak

Ditching Microsoft, Apple, Google and Facebook is easy as fuck, jk google is pretty hard

Your not a girl you fucking liar

There are no women here

Its called scrappers. State interest groups do sweeps of the internet IP all the time. You're free to block those with programs like peerblock and shit, but if you don't, and you allow those requests in, they will find out what machine you use.

The internet is not made for privacy, be it IPv4 or 6. Just look at how addressing works, you need a unique identifier for the message to be relayed.
Do note, even if you are behind a PAT NAT you still have a port number assigned by your router for end-to-end addressing.

IPv6 contains all your personal information such as your address and phone number. (((google))) it if you don't believe me.

ip6 can give ISPs the capability to permenantly assign every single person (and each of their devices) to a unique, (((((permenant))))) address.

Enjoy the year 2026, where you'll have to fill out multiple documents, 2 pieces of verifying identification, and pay a $200 tax stamp to request a new IP address. After all, you have no reason to change it if you're not running from anybody, right goy?

Oh wait, it looks like a device registered under your name (2001:0db8:0000:0042:0000:8a2e:0370:7334) was flagged for a copyright violation in 2021. Sorry, we can't provide services to criminals.

It's exactly the same deal as IPv4 you fuckwit.
ISPs know exactly what you are doing so stop pretending otherwise. Hell, I hope you run a second router behind your ISP router because if not you have a gateway to all your computers and shared folders.
Nice memes btw

ipv5 already exists or something

>implying isps wont still make you nat shit to save money

They don't do NAT on IPv6.
They do run DS-Lite, NAT64, DNS64, CGNAT to get back IPv4 space to sell for thousands
And they give /52 or /56 prefixes to customers instead of the standard /48
Fucking telcos

lying fuckj, post tits and feet if you are serious

Is it impossible to implement address translation in ipv6?

>captcha is owned by Google

Why shouldn't we?

narcissistic manchildren who think they're a hero in a movie fighting against the big bad governement

and then what?

>Femanon
Tits or GTFO

Everything is botnet.
