Did I do good for $730 dollars (including shipping + tax) Sup Forums?

Dumb fuck build

not him, but explain why

What would you improve?

good parts yeah
I'd increase the storage but maybe you have some shit lying around already

Not , but that HDD is horrendous.

Dumb fuck post

It's an SSD, not an HDD. I mistyped. It's a SanDisk SSD PLUS 120GB

GB HDD
GB

You did the smart thing.
I did the opposite, AMD CPU and NVIDIA GPU, runs too hot (FX 8350 + 970)

No K series CPU = gay

With your 120gb SSD you'll be able to install approx 3 games

250gb SSDs were like $70-80 all December, what's going on here?

Spend like $60 more and get an unlocked K processor and a Z-170 board.

Get like 3 years more life from the system

no u

not or but maybe however please explain your reasoning

Get a hybrid hdd 2tb 90 dollars maybe cheaper. Get a 1060 or 1070. Buy a better case. That shit is ugly like an uncircumcised cock.

i'm I thought the amount of storage was mediocre, so that's why I said horrendous. Now that I know it's an SSD so it's better, but I couldn't imagine being limited to ~100GB.

Storage is cheap these days, why restrict yourself?

need water cooling for hot ass CPU, intel + amd gpu is better.

me:

not to mention an ssd that small would slow down to a (relative to other SSDs) crawl because over provisioning and caching is weaksauce on lower capacity drives, and they just lack the chips to have comparably consistent throughput to higher capacity drives so they need those to work for them.

> -Sandisk 120GB HDD
Get a bigger ssd.

Why? Buy a XFX, Sapphire or MSI one.
> -Sea Sonic M12II 630W
Seasonic M12II Evo 620w? If so, good psu.
> -Phankteks Eclipse P400
Good.
> -2 x 4Gb 2400MHz (same price as 2133MHz) HyperX Fury
Go for the 16GB meme. You won't regret it.

I have a mechanical hard drive. I'm just not including it because I didn't buy it.

What do you need the SSD for then? You could probably get some better components if you skipped it.

I haven't fallen for the SSD meme yet though, so I don't know just how good they are.

It was $30 at the time, I just wanted a boot drive.

It supposedly has the best cooler, I didn't know about the VRM issues until I got it. I'm not into super OCin anyway.

Yes it's the Evo 620W

My laptop had 16Gb and I never used over 6. In fact I just got my other 4Gig stick today and I was doing moderately well on 4Gb.

Also, I didn't go with a K CPU because it would have costed $80 more including the motherboard. By the time 3.6GHz isn't enough, I imagine it would be time to go to 8 cores then.

I had a hybrid drive before and it was slower than a normal 7.2k HDD. I hated it.

And I went with AMD for two reasons:
-I play a lot of DX12 games
-I despise Nvidia (as well as Intel, but I had no other option)
