So I did some investigating and a mounting bracket for my CPU dislodged

Did I do something wrong? Does this shit just run hot or what? I am nervous that the parts are going to fuck each other up if they start peaking like it was in pic related.

On a fresh PO it started and hung at like 20-23C each but then after a few minutes it jumped up to where it is now.

I would say that's fine
Your cooler is fine, idling at 30°C is good. And the airflow inside your case shouldn't be an issue.
Both my CPU and MoBo are hitting 55°C under 100% load, but anything under 75°C should be fine imho.
Is the chipset heatsink properly attached? On some motherboards, they are pretty loose and wobble a lot, could be the cause of your high chipset temps. Or just faulty thermal sensor.
