I don't have the hardware for it, in many ways. I'm a poorfag student with a shitty notebook as my only machine.
I did however recently fuck around with VMs until I managed to make virtual machine software accept my physical Windows partition I dual-boot in. Both QEMU and VirtualBox too, though QEMU has some kind of problem with OpenGL for me, so I use VirtualBox for now.

I'm thinking of installing puppy linux on a USB flash drive, then install QEMU on that and use it to boot VM, like Windows XP and older.
Would this be good idea? Or does it require too much RAM?

Windows is shit. The problem was never about aesthetics. They locked down the UI and made it so dumb, no self-respecting power user wants to waste time using 3rd party apps and deviantart skins to make it look half as pretty as Linux.

I think the "gay pedo" mod who deletes desktop threads is someone who used to post in them, but just doesn't want to see them in the state the #cutegang IRC shitposting terror squad leaves them in. They were a lot better at one point, when the cool ricers like mayhem, zixaphir, seaweed, whistle, and vosh were still active and hacking. Desktop threads and their members gave us oneechan, Sup Forums X, appchan, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff, and its members made great themes and cool hacks for themselves as well.

Then, at some point, almost everyone left, and the people who didn't leave stopped posting about technology except for one guy who thinks everything is shit if it's not GNU/emacs or in any way popular with arch users.

No, I don't have two GPUs and two monitors. But if I had I'll do it.

well I suppose I could do it with only one and switch between linux and windows as I need.
But two GPUs and a motherboard that supports them remains as a requirement. And my computer wasn't meant to be a gaymen computer or a render computer, but a computer to compile software with a strong CPU.
So what I do is play with wine inside a sandbox, I use Firejail but isn't all that good, for example software using d-bus can jailbreak from the sandbox

If you have iGPU you can still do it.
