What web browser do you use and why?

What web browser do you use and why?

Midori.

Just werks. Works fast. Low system resource usage.

Vivaldi.

it has muh features

Firefox

>open source
>not botnet
>addons
>about:config
>blazing fast

Vivaldi

Firefox esr

Lynx because I'm not a nigger.

Firefox. Tried chromium year ago but adblocker on it worked like shit so i've removed it and returned to good ol' foxie.

Why not Netscape haha

Firefox, cause why would I join the botnet for 0.000001ms faster pageloads?

Iridium

Ungoogled chromium

Safari because it just werks

Opera because it's like Chrome only better.

Firefox..it is the best for privacy

Because these exist. No excuse.

Ehhh, too much effort, FF works fine.

Epiphany and Chrome.

iridium is a potential german botnet and ungoogled chromium lacks a lot of firecuck customization features

*Chromium

Chromium

>iridium is a potential german botnet

what makes you say that exactly?

>ungoogled chromium lacks a lot of firecuck customization features

ah, so you're willing to prioritize your ricing needs over performance.

Chrome, because Chrome OS. It just works. I am well aware that I can actually either wipe Chrome OS with a full blown mini/tiny Linux distribution install, or that I can dual-boot a Linux distribution alongside my Chrome OS, that is if I want. I'm still on the edge of wiping Chrome OS for a Linux distribution. If it doesn't play nicely I'll just reset/re-flash Chrome OS back with my Chrome OS recovery drive.

>performance
An unnoticeable performance boost you mean? Awesome.

This

It's so funny to me when people say they choose a browser for "performance" as if they're running these browsers on dialup and pentium II's.

firefox aurora

>unnoticeable

Nice meme. I tried switching back to Firefox several times over the past 3 years and always ended up going back to Chrome due to how much clunkier and slower FF is.

>what makes you say that exactly?
used to phone back to the germans and it's not fully audited, so the chance for the botnet is there, albeit small

>ah, so you're willing to prioritize your ricing needs over performance.
personally I feel like the difference in performance is negligible, so yes

Vivaldi for my home computer because features and customizability.

Seamonkey for my work computer because a built-in email client is amazing for work purposes.

I use a browser that's even better than chrome.
I'm not actually Indian
Try Peppermint OS. It's basically Chrome OS, but with actual Linux features.

Ungoogled-chromium because it's what runs best on my shitbox. I would prefer Firefox if it was as fast, I really miss some extensions.

ok pajeet

nice argument

>Nice meme. I had a personal experience.
You too pajeet

Are you me?

Yes

>Firefox
>fast

Hahahahahahaha.

You computer sucks if Firefox is not fast :)

This. It's literally as fast as chromium browsers on my pc.

>tfw unemployable Pajeet who had a job interview today for IT support
>tfw basic competency test
>tfw one question was, "Name as many web browsers as you can"
>tfw I listed every browser from le meme chart from Sup Forums
Every other applicant BTFO

This.

how does it feel to be cucked by that inefficient botnet?

Never heard of, tried it, tenoutaten, werks.

Best answer

Firefox. Don't know what I will be using when they get rid of add-ons though.

Pale Moon

ff chromium opera :^)

Currently sitting on Firefox Beta with e10s, mainly because of Tree Style Tab and Tab Groups/Helper, but with them dropping XUL and imminent breaking of my addons sooner rather then later I'm slowly getting ready to jump ship to qutebrowser.
Once qtwebengine backend gets more love I'll switch permanently.

Everything went to shit when Opera dropped their Presto engine. I held on to 12.16 pretty long, but after a while too many websites were broken.
Jumped to Palemoon and it was pretty nice, but ver. 27 broke pentadactyl and many other addons with no alternatives available.
Firefox gets shittier with each iteration, but so far it's still better than alternatives.

Look up Gallium OS

opera at home

chrome at work

Lynx is rad

What do you guys do about Chromium not supporting H.264 codec?

>H.264 codec
Where is this relevant?

kissanime.ru

Firefox because Vimperator is too good, chrome versions of it are crap, and uzbl/qutebrowser/etc all use shitty outdated webkit, which can't even youtube, also they have no ublock.

I'm not some peasant who watches media on a web browser

> anime
> .ru
Dude...

Lynx is lit. I use it when I use my Apple //e as a dumb terminal.

I also use Contiki's web browser to access the internet onboard (with an Uthernet II card).

yes

Seamonkey.

firecucks , too lazor to change

Vivaldi as main
Firefox 38esr for Sup Forums, mangos and porn

Rarely google, but only if I need to cast shit to my chromecast.

Why would I use Opera over Chrome?

Is there any browser using Blink that's not monitoring my browsing habits?

Battery saving option for laptops
Integrated free VPN
That nifty floating video thinghy
Opera turbo

Anyone else have rendering problems like this with Safari?

Firefox.
I fully acknowledge that Chromium is faster.
>why
Open source
Used to it
Has addons that I like

And maybe someday if it will take me into that waters I might try contributing to it. Have to learn programming first though.

This!

Firefox. Add-ons, XUL.

Googiel Chrome.
Fair font rendering, fast, reliable, it's js engine is used in electron.
