What a worthless kb.

the keyboard on pic related

No keyboard will make you a better programmer, just get a mechanical keyboard with switches you like the feel of

Unironically I really like some coolermaster keyboard that I bought for cheap that has like half mechanical/membrane switches.
I should buy a real mechanical though. Though I can't find anything super cheap.

This type of thread is the essence of what is killing this board. Instead of conversing about the strides in computing in recent years or the reasons to learn technology and computer science, this board has devolved completely into commercialism and ironic shilling. This used to be the place to discuss this shit, as /sci/ would kick you out for believing in CS, but that's dead and gone now. Instead, the board is almost exclusively people that are underage shilling about the tech that they don't own that they feel is superior to other tech that they don't use in doing work that they don't have. It's a constant cycle of software and hardware being released and constant threads not about its actual usefulness but its supposed implications in incredibly specific fields that no one in the thread is ever a part of. So fuck you OP, for being the cancer of this board and an insecure piece of subhuman garbage.

>keyboard for programming
>no numpad

...

...

>mfw this is true
What happened to all of the in depth discussion of code architecture, mathematical theory, and computing practicality? Are the newfags so disassociated with real life that they only look at brand status and the memes tired to it? Even the chink shit generals have devolved into a cluster of shills being offended that people don't like the same brand of 5$ ear buds that they do. Why is Sup Forums dying so quickly?

You can program Go using any keyboard.

I blame the Jews

you guys new or just redditors?

Hands down it's the Sculpt. I've used cherry blue/red keyboards and all other kinds of nonsense.

The best mouse is Logitech Trackball

>thinking we just don't head to l**nchan to have actual technology discussion
Sup Forums is for shitposting about linux and apple products

Whichever keyboard is cheap and works. It was pic related in my case, the K120.

literally straight outta pajama sam

>muh seekrit club
you don't have to censor the name user

What the fuck time are you talking about? You're on fucking Sup Forums. Sup Forums has always been consumerist bullshit.

Reddit is out in force today

>He doesn't know

Amazon has that listed at $245. Call me poor or whatever but that's stupidly expensive.

>he's not programming in machine code
ISHYGDDT

literally any keyboard

>i need a specific keyboard else my code won't compile

I know that it's lainchan.

It costs that much because of its prestige

By the time I have my new board with modified mx clears I'll have about $215 into it.

Hooray I own a keyboard that the most insane man on the planet uses

why are you buying it from amazon?
Its much cheaper to just get it from Japan and have then ship it over

It's also just a rubber dome

Every keyboard is usable for programming.
Personally I prefer Scissor-switch keyboards with led-backlight. It's very comfortable if you are programming without light.

>the strides in computing in recent years
What strides in computing? Technology has been dying in recent years because consumers demand stupid shit like ultrabooks and RGB LEDs in everything so consumer tech companies give it to them and call it 'innovation' which they also feels justifies a stupidly high pricetag.

Thanks for contributing to the problem.

>stop liking what I don't like

Nobody is stopping you from making the threads you want. Yet nobody is entitled to give your threads any attention.

Now kys.

>same pic name in multiple threads
You're not even trying.

Pleb.

>a rubber dome that activates midway instead of bottoming out.
A much more reliable rubber dome

This guy knows what he is talking about

what if you make a mistake? What do?

...

Any keyboard that's paired with a trackball mouse.

u sure about that?

15 dollars at microcenter

Used keyboards always look so nasty. You can imagine all the fluids (Be it a spilled soda or otherwise) that have touched it

This is what we use at work. They're fine I guess.

>M A S T E R R A C E

Hello friend.

>not the admin keyboard

>moving your hands to type
enjoy your RSI, faggots

>and nobody posted anything with a big-ass enter key yet

You disappoint me, Sup Forums.

No keyboard that hasn't even a big-ass return key is even a contender!

big-ass enter key is an ISO thing, and ISO keyboards are shit

enjoy having to memorize all that stupid shit for no reason

Get on my level plebs.

I had that. Gave it to my cousin when I gave her an old inspiron.

>Ctrl F Datahand
>"0 Results"
You disappoint me Sup Forums

The most expensive rubber dome meme

>not building his own 60% board
build a GH60

You can't fucking beat this keyboard. It's got the best keys, it's only few mm up from the table which means your hands are never up in the air and never strain and it makes really pleasant sound that doesn't annoy people around you.

I use it under Linux and even the media keys work.

I heard that Apple will discontinue this model and replace it with thinner mechanical switches so I'll be buying an extra one before that happens.

This keyboard is fucking perfect.

The fact that you care about the keyboard tells me you're a shit programmer.

You think Hemingway cared about the paper he used? the man wrote on fucking trenches while the germans were throwing grenades at him.

The fucking keyboard does not matter. Your ideas matter. How you execute them.

Now get the fuck out.

You're obviously not qualified to use this keyboard.

Any of them that have this layout for the delete key (something you use often in coding).

I've never used the delete key in a text editor.

Home/End/PgUp/PgDn are extremely useful tho.

fooking vrekkt

But it's not just Sup Forums. All of Sup Forums is becoming watered down Sup Forumss of their respective topics.
>what happened to all the in-laws depth discussion?
There was never any to begin with

i say it's a great keyboard i still have mine for my pi

You have a tendency to look back and remember the good threads.

Sup Forums has been shitty forever.

I have this it's good. Mechanical shit is definitely one of the biggest memes right now, literally 0 benefits, expensive as fuck and loud.

This !

Get out or go to /mkg/ for re-education.

...

why would you ever use that piece of shit

homemade loliboard master race

+1, only keyboard where my hands dont hurt using it.

>All of Sup Forums is becoming watered down
>implying 4chinz was ever good

>Get out or go to /mkg/ for re-education.
fuck those keyboards. they're everything I hate about old keycaps. I can't stand those tall keys that stick up a lot and some even hurt my thumb as I press the space bar.

>meme keyboard shit.
just learn how to properly type and you won't need these retarded contraptions.

>I love taking dick up my ass

>he didn't like things I like
>better call him gay because I can't make counter-arguments to his
>that'll teach him! that'll make him see the light
>right, that's what I'll do

thanks, made my day

Real talk though, I am tired, you have your opinion, I have mine, you like the apple keyboard, I like my mech keyboard, have a nice day and I'll head to bed

I have half a dozen keyboards in a box in my closet. I stumbled across this Aluminum apple keyboard by chance because the bookstore chain I sometimes go to has them as keyboards to access their info terminals so you can check what books they have in stock. I used it for like 3 min and just love the way it feels.

large mech keys jsut hurt my fingers if I don't hit them squarely at the center. when i type for hours, my left thumb ends up hurting a lot because it always hits the spacebar and spacebar on mech keyboards has that hard edge that sticks out.

maybe its you, user, who should try diff things out and not just believe the bullshit memes.

my second fav keyboard is MS ergo keyboard because it also has pretty low keys but I have a different issue with it so don't use it as much.

but both the apple & ms keyboards are miles ahead these fucking meme mech keyboards when it comes to just pure ergos.

anyway, nite user.

fair enough, then again I am not the one who told you to go out, only the one who did the typical calling people gay for using apple anything, that was uncalled for by me, I've used several keyboards in the past but what mechs are what ended up being comfy for me, cheers m8, sorry for being a cunt.

nigger I learned dvorak with this in 1 month after getting RSI using an ergo keyboard. Regular keyboards are shit for anyone with even the most minor wrist issues

>needing a spacebar
>not inputting spaces in machine code

...

>2k+17
>people still need done key on binary kb

Tfw you dont come from a universe where Sup Forums was good

>1 0
>machine code

I'm an ISO UK user and ISO looks like ass compared to ANSI.

My nigga

>muh aesthetics

never mind that uk iso squeezes out an extra key despite the larger enter key, big ass enter key layout isn't the same as iso

got one. feels terrible

poor

mindless haters incoming
