This just proves people don't really need high wattage PSUs nowadays. I settled for a Corsair ax860 Platinum PSU and I'm happy with. Probably overpaid for it tho.

Wtf are you running

Currently using a 600w Titanium rated PSU and a 1500VA UPS.

Everything appears to be in order.

3x ssd
2x hdd
i5 2500k
gtx 550 ti
2x 4gb ddr3

no extras

Probably an overclocked Pentium 4

Cant manage to make it go past 40 celsius for cpu and 55 for gpu

Im fucking freezing here

Right now 48 watts.

Oh sorry

>not just having a power meter between your computer and the wall

my [email protected] and a GTX980SC running at a full synthetic load with prime95 and furmark shows 368w at the wall

I doubt that. I can post almost 350w with JUST prime 95 stress test on my 5820k.

Just to prove a point.

Here is P95 running on my 5820k @ 4.3GHz with two 1440p monitors at ~15-20w each.

~405W from the wall.

So shave off ~50w for the monitors and speakers, and that's 350w, without any stressing of the GPU.

Your GTX980 should manage easily another ~150-250w on top of that depending on how you have it clocked.

I know my 8350 can pull atleast 220w at it's current OC, and my 970 could theoretically hit 300w since it has 8pin and a 6pin. (at load ofc)

who comfy hybrid pc/heater here

180 watts idle
568 watts at full load
this includes dual monitors, and bookshelf speakers.

How are you using more power than my dual Xeon E5-2640?

Running on an EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2.

Of course the only reason it's this high is it's counting my secondary GPU running maxed out which it never does, but ayy.
