Do you know anyone who's done this, has it worked out? Would you do this?

Having to clean your pc every week sounds like fun
Not giving you anything until you post a real image you fucking low effort fag.
I'm aware people have done it, but I'd never actually post a thumbnail myself, it just seems pointless.

How are things mounted to the board and how is the board mounted to the wall?
It's the one thing I haven't seen an explanation for.
All that setup and he is only running a shitty single monitor, and a horrible oem dell keyboard.
fucking plebs
>Lack of protection for components,
>Look's fucking retarded gaymen glowing shit.
>Dust would be everywhere
>Actually falling for the water cooling meme
this is like goofballs who do this to their cars
>Mighty Putty
as someone who did something similar multiple times before, let me tell you: don't even bother.
just fucking go to instructables and find a bunch of ways to do this. there are literally thousands of ways. and they have tutorials too.
>Mighty Putty
top kek m8
This is like you're a fucking retard. Kill yourself.
how is that fucking similar?
also, why not?
HOW THE FUCK IS WATERCOOLING A MEME???
YOU TAKE THAT SHIT BACK RIGHT THE FUCK NOW
what's the matter bro? did you make a sweet ass watercooled rig just to find out it doesn't benefit shit?
both are essentially a diy case.
reasons:
- pci extension cables are DOA 9/10 times
- you can't use MDF because you can't properly drill holes into it
- expensive
- will get dusty as hell in 2 days
- hard to change parts
- loud unless fanless
- vibrations from fans and other moving parts will transfer into the wood, makes it even louder
- probably need to void warranty to place PSU/GPU
What is the part I've arrowed?
coolant reservoir
water cooling reservoir
MY PHASE CHANGE SYSTEM CAN KEEP AN I7 6950X AT 6 GHZ ROOM TEMP FAGGOT
So basically you're a fucking idiot when doing it?
Most of your problems are based on the fact that you drilled inside the fucking wood to place your components.
>pci extension cables are DOA 9/10 times
that's actually a big concern of mine, thanks for letting me know. where would you suggest ordering from that delivers globally?
Thanks Sup Forumsents
those cables ruin it, as does the flexible tubing.
Thermaltake Core P5 is wall-mountable if you want an easier solution.
>will get dusty as hell in 2 days
why did you let it open you retard ? cover it with some piece of glass, it'll look 3 times better and not get dusty
Why not? Is is beautiful, artistic. I have seen many people spend much more money and time on more useless shit on Sup Forums
>cover it with some piece of glass
>window cases
not mine, but pcpartpicker.com

Sounds like you did a really poor planing m8.
This is a much better setup IMO
for what reason would you want to do that?
kek
Did this for a friend. the only issue was the pcix extension cable. it stayed pretty cool was mostly for looks anyways.
Don't fall for his b8
>Poor fag detected
You must be poor thinking it's a meme. Just leave
Ive had no issues with mdf. just have to use the right screws or brass inserts for bolts.

is the rad seriously agains the wall? WTF, that's the worst placement you can imagine for it.
that tiny mousepad and cuckold speakers oh man these people are so pitiful
>Mount everything on the wall
>Don't even do it functionally
>MOM GET YOUR CAR WE NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL AND THE ELECTRONICS STORE
>AGAIN
looks like a TV wall mount
GPU latency of doom
Instead of upgrading his poverty-tier monitor, speakers, mouse, and keyboard, this retard spent all his money on an ugly piece of shit case and water-cooling?
whos the girl?
>If I can't see a 12 inch gap then the radiator is spot welded to the surface
that disgusting paint job
wow why would someone be this dumb
He never said it was preety
I wouldn't, it would be too much of a pain in the ass to upgrade/modify anything about the system, it's just impractical for no real reason.
this.
that rad placement is hilarious.
this whole idea is rather impracticle though, trying to plug/unplug shit from any port would be a massive pain in the ass
this build has been my main computer at work for about 6 months.
as you can see the dust build up is extremely minimal.
wtf is that fuckhuge expansion port between the usbs?
CF
>Spend extra money
>Use extra effort
>Finished product is still ugly as shit
A nice case and good build will always look 10x sexier than meme-mount bullshit anyway. Fucking gay.
if you're going to do this shit you should hard pipe it that looks like fucking garbage.
this
>wasting wall space with gaymer shit
>not mounting monitors on wall
Plebians.
lel
Flux capacitor
>wanting to be a virgin forever
well at least you are honest about it user
Is tomshardware really reddit tier? I used to go on there a lot
One of those monitors could fall and brain you in you sleep.
I don't see why it wouldn't work out. I wouldn't do it though, I'd rather keep my PC in a box and put a painting or poster on the wall
Save yourself the headaches and get one of these.
it's a fucking box to put your computer it.
why does it have to be pretty?
I would never do that. In addition to all the dust the computer would accumulate and loss of protection granted by a case, tacking a computer to a wall, especially in that fashion, lacks good taste and looks trashy.
>shit brained autists
Yet op saved a fucking thumbnail and it's okay?
Does the thumbnail get the point across? Then what the fuck's the issue? It's a goddamned PC mounted on a wall, you don't need the aychest of dees to see what's going on.
this sort of shit is terrible, like those people that wall mount consoles and route the wires to look cool.
plus this makes the pc huge when it doesnt need to be
i have this monitor, i wish i didnt
>all those ugly, unkempt wires
>uses wifi
pay someone to run cat6 cable ffs
all of you dust fags don't realize that there's no airflow over the components so dust buildup is very low (caparable to rest of room) other than the radiator which one would need to clean periodically no matter what.
Cunt destroyer.
its Jess
Virginity Level.
Your employer cannot afford proper ethernet ?
More interested in wall-mounting monitors and/or radiators maybe. A couple months ago i was looking into passive radiators to try and build a silent pc
I could see something like working for me though, less showy than the OP build but it could look ok while removing more shit from my desk
I like the stupid music over it so you can't hear how loud that dumb shit is right in front of your face
Unless your computer has 2 1TB SSDs, 2 1080s, and an i7, there are better ways to spend your money than the led tube meme.
He spent the money on the water cooling meme
>Would you do this?
Why would I even bother such a thing when it doesn't even look that good? It's not worth the effort IMO.
