Don't you need a legal version of Windows to use that anyways? Where do I get a key for windows 7 or whatever.

that cooler wont fit mate

no, daz loader

Isn't 500W cutting it a little close?

You might not have much headroom if you choose to add more drives, which seems like a possibility with a single 250GB drive.

lol no

250gb ain't going to cut it. I can tell you that now.
Throw a 3TB drive in there for storage instead of buying windows 10.

free online storage senpai with google drive you should check it out.
>inb4 nsa
thats what the 250gbs are for

Add more RAM and buy an additional hard drive. Don't waste a 100 bucks on W10 that you can get for free legally.

Try this

I'm no fan of cloud services, having it locally can be more pleasant for a variety of reasons. I doubt google will go under anytime soon, but you never know what might happen. It can also be annoying when you don't have the fastest internet connection.

Which leads me to the following: Make sure you have some way to back your shit up, you are at it now anyway.
also has a point.

Are you sure? Do I need a cooler then?

I might get the 600w then

I'll probably get the 500 gb ssd instead when I take off windows

I think 8 gb of ram is more than enough

Either watercooler or low profile

The 212 is really tall and theres no way it would clear any mini-itx case

Get a newer motherbaord. The z270 has better features than the z170

Actually upon further inspection, it CAN fit, its actually a fairly large case for an ITX board

Nobody asked for your dumb opinions amdrone.

Kaby lake is compatible with z170 BUT you'll need a BIOS update which won't be possible unless you have a skylake chip handy.

I changed it to a z270 I found one for $30 more

Okay so updated listing

get the core 500 NOT the node 304.

The core 500 is essentially a straight upgrade.

Get education edition windows 10, it's free (if you know, or are, a student or a professor). Or pirate enterprise/professional. Home edition is bullshit. Paying for an OS shouldn't even be a thing nowadays, even MacOS is free.
You can also get an official image and use daz loader. Nobody buys windows.

don't listen to him did you check if that power supply will give you enough room for bending cables right in front of it? you have a small gap between it and the gpu

but it's ugly af tho. I would get a node 304 too.

this is the legit version, hash matchs

I like how it has the USB and the headphones on the side it makes it easy to set it on my desk.

I purchased this so hopefully everything turns out great I'm pretty excited.

i don't think the new cpus, do ddr3

wait, did you really buy ddr3?

No not yet. I said I bought it but I'm eating until February when I move because my lease is up on my apartment.
