wangblows 10

and KDE also :^)

Anyone know what this environment is?

Gnome shell.

Comic Sans everything.

Gnome shell

Openbox

Fast af

LXDE here. KDE isnt bad. Think KDE Plasma would be my second choice

Oh. I see you're running GNOME... You know, I'm actually on KDE myself, I know that desktop environment is supposed to be better, but, you know what they say, old habits, they die hard.

Windows 10 and KDE

>$CURRENTYEAR
>using a bloated desktop environment

I use awesome desu.

I know you're memeing, but it's the complete opposite now. KDE is probably much better than gnome, but I'm too used to gnome, GTK, dconf etc. to switch over.

An executive running Linux?

Cinnamon

LXDE

whatever the fuck stock ubuntu has lul

GNOME

The ones with a mouse. :3

I like xfce

Cinnamon, because I don't actually hate myself

i3, of course

cinnamon & xfce are the only two choices.

Budgie Right now

This. Managing floating windows on a laptop screen shaves years off your life.

KDE Plasma 5.8 LTS

KDE is p comfy... until the icons and textboxes start artifacting.

ImplyingOS

Have been using kde for the past 4 years now.
krunner is the main reason though.

And fuck dudes in the ass

I just wish they would do something about solid not working properly with bind type mounts. KDE just keeps getting better and better, however it has some retarded devs in charge of its core components who love to play the blame game with the other components instead of fixing the goddamn bugs in their code.

Lo/g/os

this

I have the ultimative DE

ALL PRAISE I3-GAPS!!

How user?

this

This looks good
how is it for daily use?

Fuck off Kevin

... don't they have their own OS?...

...

Best one

Linux should be CL only to stop retards from using it

>2017
>gnome is still 2015

Kek, this literally happened to me, except without the faggy weeb shit of course.

>Be brogramming on laptop
>openbox, no dock or bar
>some maccuck sees me
>has also used linux once
>walks up and says: 'hey you're using gnome'
>no I'm not
>oh really? What is is then?
>tell him
>looks at me confused
>oh well I've only ever used KDE, I always just assume everything else is gnome
>facepalm internally
>oh ok
>asks me what distro am I using
>before I can answer he tells me he prefers arch
>autismo rage achieved
>tell him ubuntu
>starts about the amazon shit from years ago he read about somewhere
>clearly has no idea what he's talking about
>leave

Now I use a windows theme, so shit like that doesn't ever happen again. This was a complete stranger btw.

Anyone have experience running windowmaker on os x?
When I try to ./configure it tells me the xmu library is missing
I can't seem to find how to install it, ice found some people saying that you need the xcode sdk but I already had it
I also already have the latest distribution of xquartz

> >oh well I've only ever used KDE, I always just assume everything else is gnome

THIS IS TOO GOOD

There's no way someone who actually used arch didnt know about WMs and DEs outside of kde and gnome.

\>he doesnt know unicode

I'm just telling you what he told me.

wow, listen to yourself

i guess arch users really are better than the rest of us

No DE, I run just i3wm

Ever heard of Mr Robot?

Kevin pls go

kek

I'm running GNOME.

MATE

Fuck DE's, get outa here with yur shit battery life

KDE Plasma 5.8.5. The DE that can emulate all others if you want it to.

Lxde + openbox
Everything else is shit

i3

I tinkered with i3, but figured out it was better for me to just stick with tmux instead of learning a whole new set of commands. i3 is the way to go if your up to it

Cinnamon's the only tolerable one.

Using cinnamon. KDE Plasma is pretty nice.
Installed sabayon kde for a while recently.

i like cinnamon

Bspwm here

GNOME. People give it shit for how little it can be customized, but I didn't find myself wanting to customize it much in the first place.

cwm

Gnome

its a meme worth living, guess I will move on to dwm but not awesome (layout rotation just seems strange) and not to xmonad because "functional languages are useless"

Gnome can actually customized a lot with extensions and dconf-editor but people are too retarded to even look it up.

xfce

Cinnamon is the non autistic answer

bonsoir

awesomewm with xfce installed and the policykit starting automatically so I can mount things with thunar. best setup imo

GET
THE
FUCK
OUT
KEVIN
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

ditto

dwm

I legitimately enjoy using unity. I also like KDE

Explorer/ Windows Shell/Win10 or Xfce in Manjaro

I've used KDE off and on since it came out.
Always generally liked it over others.

Not him, but you'd be surprised. The fact that Arch gets hyped as "letruelinuxexperience" a lot along with the Arch Wiki makes it surprisingly easy for people who don't know what they're doing to install it.

Also, anyone else waiting for season 3?

>what are GNOME Shell extensions

extensions.gnome.org/

I don't think I've had an extension break despite updates to GNOME3 and even if one did break, the extension author usually fixes shit quickly.

Lumina

CDE.

>like this

The worlds only fur-bait DE

Explorer.exe
