P.s. tablets are a meme you shouldn't fall for

Second hand nexus 7 2013

>tablet
go back to 2012

This.
Bought one 3 years ago, I am yet to notice any hiccups or lack of power

this in case you really NEED a tablet

I just want something to draw on, that's it. And maybe the occasional porn video

>draw
buy one with digitizer, the touch screens are not exact enough.

nvidia shield K1 is pretty decent

Just get a phone. Phones nowadays would be considered tablets back then.

Sup Forums is the wrong place to ask about tablets as it's frequented by Asperger's Syndrome sufferers who enjoy tinkering obsessively with computers.

Tablets don't really provide an opportunity for tinkering, as they provide slick, secure and reliable access to useful software applications (or "apps") without any complications, so naturally Sup Forums can't see the point of them.

Furthermore, Sup Forums posters tend to have oversized phones, which makes possession of a tablet even more pointless in their eyes. The concept of a book-sized device that you can use on train, bus or airplane without having to squint at has no merit to them since they very rarely travel anywhere.

If pushed, Sup Forums users may grudgingly recommend Windows tablets, as they have a "real" operating system. The fact that Windows is designed for computers with keyboards and mice, and is a terrible touch OS with barely any touch-optimised software, means that these "tablets" are really laptops without keyboards, running software designed for desktops.

Finally, you will hear mention of the Nexus 7 2013. A three year old device with poor build quality and no SD card slot. This is because a few Sup Forums residents dabbled with the device when it was new and exciting, and have refused to move on with the times.

>mobile devices

=)

Nothing android is good OP.

Buy the cheapest one you can find.

Kindle Fire - above average build quality and screen, very cheap. Here a rooting guide:

Good post.

Nice to know there 1 otherperson on here without Asburgers.

There is no good Android tablet.

Get an iPad or if you're a special snowflake a Windows 10 one.

Lenovo a10 70 is decent and fairly cheap

What would you recommend?
I need it for studying, so I don't have to print everything.

Shield K1

>Android
>good
Pick one

>Android Tablet
>Good

Depends on how much you spend.

Shield K1 is good, and cheap, but a bit of a brick if only being used for study. The stylus you can buy separately works pretty well.

Original Samsung Tab S (NOT tab S2) is very, very nice but they're not cheap even 2nd hand, especially the gorgeous "titanium and bronze" edition.

Huawei m3 looks nice and the Asus Zenpad z580ca has double the usual RAM (32GB) a shit-hot screen, and has stylus support (buy separately). That's probably the best choice right now for an 8" tablet - and 8" is the best size for handwritten notes

Actually, I'd rather go for something >9'' as I'd like to carry it instead of paper textbooks, and 7'' is not enough as most texbooks are A4

I have a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with total 80GB of storage.

I have a case with a built-in bluetooth keyboard and I can do whatever on it.

It's great for lying in bed watching shit. You can even program C in nano in a linux terminal because android is locked unix.

Amazon Fire desu

My HD 7" still works after 3 years of daily use

I liked my old Samsung note 2014 edition. The spen worked pretty good, depending on the firmware version it could be less accurate over the lower border but otherwise very good. Some roms made it faster, sketchbook app prebuilt, some bloatware easy to deactivate, the usual with Samsung.
If you look for one, I'll suggest the 32gb 4 core version. It's a little heavy though, not for holding too long.

icube iwork 10

Buy an iPad, fag

Really depends on what you want it for, if you just want it for videos or porn the Dell Venue 8 3000 series is an excellent choice, awesome 1080p display at 30-50$ dirt cheap. Only has 1gb of ram and tons of bloat tho so its not good for anything else.
