Gaming Laptop

What is a good gaming laptop with a gtx 1060 (or even gtx 1070 if reasonably priced), preferably 17" and SSD not required (have they gotten affordable now? is it useless to save on SSD cost by getting an HDD-only laptop?)?
price range 1000-1500$

pick one

the laptop gtx 1060 scores very close to the desktop 1060 pham

and the price isn't that much steeper than a desktop with that card, especially considering you get a monitor and keyboard with it

> not being able to upgrade
> bad cooling performance
> Hard to repair

Just not worth it. Go for a desktop pc + a small transportable laptop.

Or do you REALLY have a reason to NEED a GAMING LAPTOP?

>GTX 1060

Yeah you're a retard

>gaming laptop
Just get a PS4 slim and a carrying case or backpack.

upgrading is mostly useless because bottleneck
bad cooling performance wont really matter because you dont need to overclock
I wont repair anything the warranty will if something fucks up

>not being able to upgrade
msi and alienware make upgradable ones. not sure if asus, gigabyte, or razer do though. you can buy mxm graphics cards on ebay or from the manufacturer

100% confirmed retard. You're making my day.

OP get this, rip it open and replace the ssd with a faster larger one.
the 1050 will give you real actual battery life and you can build a desktop with an OC'd 1070 to compensate for your epeen, you disgusting faggot

also girls might not be so afraid of you for having a normal looking laptop, you autistic cretin

Gaming laptops are terrible things. It will cook itself over the course of three years, it won't perform adequately and it'll be much larger and heavier than an ordinary laptop.

Have you ever seen an old gaming laptop? Chances are you haven't. Why do you think that is?
