Tfw Trump killed the TPP

>tfw Trump killed the TPP

Who else is happy as hell? No more restrictions on the internet and whatnot

im also glad killed net "neutrality", shit was holding back ISPs

Delete this

Obviously a false flag

You niggers should read the damn thing instead of learning about it from Facebook

Explain

The is lots of fear mongering and misinformation about the tpp

The tpp draft is on the internet, you can read it

You should read it

I love Trump already

What did he mean by this?

>Who else is happy as hell? No more restrictions on the internet and whatnot

Backing out of the TPP is good.

But this should scare the shit out of you. Simply just backing out of TPP on a whim signals that he's serious about his isolationist policies. If he backs out of other trade agreements, prices on pretty much everything are going to start to go up, which is going to start to seriously screw the poorer among us. Pair that with stagnant wages and not enough jobs, and you could seriously see some serious shit.

Also, we're free of TPP, but now we're going to get fucked by ISP's anyway when they start charging us extra to use sites that aren't Facebook. So you're still getting fucked in the end.

>No more restrictions on the internet
Tom Wheeler is no longer in charge at the FCC and the first thing Pai and O'Reilly are going to do is get rid of Net Neutrality.

We're all still fucked you fucking trumper retard.

>Companies can literally sue countries over intellecual property disputes along with a whole host of small businesses and individuals internationally
>Will lead to further depletion of manufacturing jobs here in America with a NAFTA-like trade deal
>Pretty much killing torrenting and file sharing of intellectual properties for any of the compliant nations
It's not a good thing at ALL. It manages to be worse than NAFTA, for Christ's sake.

Nah, we're going to get into trade deals. There's probably going to be oe between the US and the UK. But, we're only going into trade deals that favor our country's needs.

*oe

>Wanting the gov't to have control over some aspect of the Internet, as if they're going to stop there and not spread like a virus and control all aspects of the web

Like I say, you really should read the tpp instead of getting shitty second hand information like you clearly do

Or just be American and be elected to lead instead of read

The ttp had a provision that allowed companies to sue countries that made laws that affected their expected profitability. It was the first step to corporate sovereignty.

Do you know which provision it is? Have you read it in the TPP, or did you get that info from some redditor? Educate yourself and come back later.

>shitty second hand information like you clearly do
Stop shitposting. is right, and you didn't provide any argument to disprove his positions.

t. guy who has read the fucking thing

Give up. No one actually reads the laws they're against, it's like all those pro-brexiters complaining about the Lisbon treaty when all it did was write human rights into EU law.

Companies can do that right now, there's literally a lawsuit at this very moment where big tobacco is suing the Australian government over their plain packaging laws.

The tpp has provisions to protect governments from such lawsuits where the government passes laws for such things as public health, if the tpp were in effect this one could have been discarded outright

Holy shit just read the fucking document before you post it's not that fucking long

>keeps saying "educate yourself"
>has no citations, facts or actual arguments.

Congratulations, (((you))) get a gold star!

the tpp was a good thing. you like expensive shit? because now you are going to get expensive shit.

and "obamacare" when it did nothing but have the intent of make sure insurance companies didn't price gouge the fuck out of their customers and not cover them for pre-existing conditions

but prices will go up because of more dollars in american pockets, seems sound to me

14 of the richest Americans are immigrants and have more money than Trump

Did you read the 5000 page TPP?

>not paying the extra $5/month for the Sup Forums Package

Trump has already stated he wants to bring more controls over the internet. How is backing out of the TPP better?

These idiots will never learn until something they need is taken away from them or fall in a hard spot. I guess it's hard to expect that from a bunch of NEETs with family safety net instead of growing the fuck up.

>Needing citation for the only thing we're talking about which can be found very easily

Not even who you were replying to but holy shit you're dumb. Find someone else to spoon-feed you because you can't Google.
