I don't have a much of a clue on quadcopters, but I'm stuck choosing between the X250 and WLtoys Q282G, which is a better value for what I get? The Q292G is on clearence and has an applicable coupon to knock off 20% more and it comes with a remote, camera and everything, but I don't have a clue about battery life. You'll want to buy a few extra batteries. Flight time is generally 6-8 min and charging time around 45-90 min so you really won't be doing much flying with a single battery.

It looks like the Q282G uses the 3.7V 500 mAh battery (?). Would that mean I'd have to buy that exact type and brand that it already has or would I be able to swap it out for better batteries that'd be able to hold more charge? I wish these things didn't have such cruddy battery life. I'd be appreciative if someone could point me towards the right direction, whether it be a new quad or anything on how to mod these things. Otherwise it doesn't feel like I should even bother buying one.

Works ok.
Had to take it apart because there was no music reaching my left ear. Turns out the potentiometer which controls the volume is bent, so bent it until audio came to my left ear.
Microphone is average. Using my computers built in realtek noise cancelling feature gives a clear audio output.
There is a noticeable drop in volume using this cable vs a plain cable (I bypassed the potentiometer when I took it apart), but no significant drop in audio quality.
Shipping was quite fast, I ordered this on 15th of Jan and it arrived today 24th of Jan.
