Because xvideos has no monetary gain system so they have to be appealing to users to keep traffic flow up. Youtube makes people stupid rich and has almost no competition so they don't have to give a shit.
If xvideos was garbage you'd use one of the other 83429374239487 porn tube sites out there (half of which are owned by the same company that owns xvideos), YouTube doesn't have to worry about that, because all the content creators are already there and they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
