I honestly feel bad for people who are still on Windows 10

I honestly feel bad for people who are still on Windows 10.

Non-meme distros such as Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora have improved greatly over the years. They are all worthy successors to Windows 7.1

Why are you still on Windows? Do you enjoy clicking on 5000 pop-up messages each day

>Do you enjoy clicking on 5000 pop-up messages each day
WHAT

this true plus no fucking tracking your history shit.

But... but my gaymes! OP, don't you care about gaymes?

> he unironically watches videos without madVR

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

get fucked linuxcucks

I just bought my laptop for school and I really don't have time to fuck around with it at the moment.

I would like to run a different OS at some point, but it's not in the cards for me right now.

madVR is nothing but a shitty placebo. There is nothing wrong with just using mpv. If you put madVR and a properly configured mpv installation next to each other, there would be zero difference. Of course, because you've never tried it, you wouldn't know this. You simply want to spout shit.

Yeah well I honestly feel bad for people who are still on GNU/Linux.

Why are you still a GNUmale? Do you enjoy typing out 5000 cli commands each day?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

> I'm literally blind

Enjoy your cheap knock-off of madVR by using mpv.

>Never had a pop-up or ad once on Windows after I took 5 minutes to disable all that shit and telemetry.
>Loonix h4ckz0rz somehow believe Windows is some sort of pop-up riddin ad infested NSA hellhole

>start windows
600000 pop-ups about java updates, word updates, steam updates, firefox updaes because there are no package managers for windows

I just got my new laptop, is there a way I can switch from Windows 10 to 8.1?

install ubuntu

As soon as SteamVR and the Unity Editor run on Ubuntu, I'm lever going back to Windows ever again.

Fuck off.

I don't fucking want Ubuntu, can you just answer my question?

Windows 10 works perfect on my machine.

No because you're fucking retarded if you want win8.1

>I honestly feel bad for people who are still on Windows 10.

I don't think of Linux users at all

>Do you enjoy clicking on 5000 pop-up messages each day

I don't even click one. WTF you talking about?

I like Windows 8.1, I'm used to it.

Get used to a better OS

>Windows 10
>Something is using up my resources
>open task manager
>everything is extremely clear and easy to reas
>open resource monitor if need more info
>still clean and nice
>right click > end task

>Linux
>something is slowing down os
>type in ps aux in terminal
>terminal fills with awful looking text
>barely any info about the tasks
>finally pinpoint source of issue
>have to remember number
>sudo kill 6969
>get command wrong or something
>have to Google the exact right command

Glad I don't use this garbage as a desktop. Imagine having to deal with this shit with all the programs and such I download from the web.

Ubuntu is ugly as fuck, get a life.

>He thinks most Linux distros don't come with a GUI task manager
Confirmed for never even touching one. Of course you can use terminal if you want to but this is just a bad troll which I somehow still responded to. Well played, troll.

>re you still a GNUmale? Do you enjoy typing out 5000 cli com
yes

gaming

>>Linux
>>something is slowing down os

lel, that doesn't happen

Master Race actually, only use Linux for email/web server.

More like
>windows 10
>laptop fan ramps up
>open up task manager
>system and service host:local service are using the CPU for some reason
>the latter houses several processes
>can't do anything about it

Btw most if not all DEs come with GUI task managers

>Loonix kiddos believe this

I don't have Java, I don't use word, steam updates automatically, my browser updates automatically, etc.

I get 0(zero) pop-ups prompting me to update when I boot.

Are you autistic?

For my games.

Yes I'm a man child. I don't have any dependents so its ok.

Is WINE still trash. I've used Linux enough to make the switch if I could still pursue my childs toy interests.

Wine works well for some things. Also decent amount of steam games are on Linux now. You could also look into gpu passthrough.

>I like eating shit, I'm used to it

>there are no package managers for windows
Actually there are multiples ones.
The only architectural advantage linux has is being kinda more modular.
Everything else about it is stuff that is tied to the license, or bandaid solutions desktop unix fags settled out of lack of alternatives.
