How do I distinguish between tech-support level lazy Pajeets and god-tier genius Sanjays?
These two seem to be the two categories Indians fall into, so I'd like to learn how to differentiate the good from the rest.

Why does it matter? Stop filling the board with trash.

TL:DR don't be a nigger.

1. Be fluent in English (or the language you do business in) -- get rid of the Pajeet accent.
2. Do your best at whatever the fuck you do.
2.5 Learn stuff around / relating your subject of expertise.
3. Don't be a virgin.
4. Don't be a slave.
5. Learn to think for yourself.

Believe it or not, many whites can be more nigger even than the most melanin rich motherfucker.

It's the same for anyone else:

Tech support tier:

a) They'll be overly self-confident to compensate for lack of knowledge
b) They'll talk too much whenever you're communicating with them. Poor communication skills is a key sign of lack of intelligence as it's them putting up a front to pretend they're saying something important. Of course it could be that they're talkative and are saying a lot of profound things but this is rare.
c) They rely on networking rather than their own merits to get shit done

The last one is the hardest one to nut out. I've had some who literally outsourced their own work and I didn't know until later. It actually turned out that they're very smart, just very lazy.

smart indians are always handsome. if he looks deformed then he is most likely a pajeet

There's an inverse relationship between self-confidence and knowledge.

>get rid of the Pajeet accent.
this is the kind of stupid advice only a monolingual anglo could come up with

Well, you can start by looking in the mirror. Do you see someone who is responsible for keeping a fortune 500's infrastructure up and running, or do you see a guy who's just spent 2 weeks pay on a new smartphone which you got a great deal on because you signed a 5 year contract? You may fall somewhere in the middle. This should tell you whether or not you warrant top notch customer support, or an unhelpful script read to you in broken English, and probably monotone too.

I'm trilingual and he's absolutely right, you should always strive to get your pronunciation as close to native as you can, even if it isn't 100%. Bringing your accent into a new language is a shitty counter-intuitive habit, you don't write English with the same spelling rules or grammar as your mother language do you?

He's doing math:
Hire!

He's doing "programming":
No hire!

yeah but it's something that either goes away with training or experience, and never really truly goes away unless you dedicate yourself to it

pajeet won't "lose" the accent and even if he does it'll be years into his career

there should be no problem just as long as he speaks intelligibly

Lol now that I think about all of the Indians Ive worked with, the quiet reserved ones were always my favorite and clearly the most talented.

There's this one Indian I have to work with occasionally, and he talks a lot and sounds like he knows what he's talking about, but every other time I talk to him I'm left wondering if he's way smarter than me, or way dumber. His whole persona rubs me the wrong way and I can't figure him out.

...

The best way is to figure out how to do it your fucking self and cut those fuckers off.

Anyone else notice that polycom conference phones and biased against Indian voices/accents? I mean some of these guys are he'd enough to understand as it is, but you can't understand shit when they're on a polycom. I think it has something to do with the audio compression algorithm.

We replaced most of the polycoms with chrome for meetings boxes and they are crystal clear.

accent is fine, just pronounce words correctly

Am I the only one who modulates their accent depending on the crowd I'm in to improve communication?

I can do American, British, Australian.

Bilingual, hoping to be trilingual soon.

Not wrong.

>you don't write English with the same spelling rules or grammar as your mother language do you?

I don't even write, or make a habit of speaking English in the way that I heard it growing up, to most people. At least I try not to. I love Appalachian culture, and find it fascinating, but most people, who aren't from here, don't. I don't want to come off sounding like a complete hillbilly, to the world at large. I don't want to help contribute to the negative stereotype we receive, if I can avoid it.

the fuck is wrong with you people

It's actually related to cast.

High cast - top tier intelligence, good looks
Low cast - shit tier intelligence, bad looks

You can judge based on looks. If he look handsome, he's probably intelligence.

>ironically, falling for Sup Forums groupthink despite not being nigger

How big is this pajeet problem in your country?

Just ask him his opinion of toilets. If he has a positive view of toilets, he's probably a Sanjay and not a Panjeet.

>3. Don't be a virgin.
>pajeet

what did he mean by this?

The same way you differentiate between a white call-center/tier 1 support tech and a white software engineer.

Out-sourcing is only going to get worst. Pajeet is flooding the market because too many white people want to waltz into a software company and start asking $60k+/year for an entry level developer position with no skills or experience besides some crappy internships/school projects they worked on. The truth is most developer positions are code-monkey positions. You will sit on a team with a couple of senior developers that will tell you exactly what they need from you and that's it.

If entry-level salaries in the tech industry were more average with other industries, this wouldn't be happening. There is nothing wrong with getting out of school and starting in the $30k-40k bracket for a few years like any entry level position outside of tech. However, there is some absurd notion that even though there is a more CS grads then new jobs currently, you still deserve all of that money for "muh skillz".

Dude I'm getting paid 50k a year for a second level support position right out of college

retarded indian defending his retarded caste system detected

Indians are like everyone else; you have to weed out the good from the bad. There is no magic method to determine if they're going to be a good or bad employee.

Can you look at a white person and figure out if they're competent without any actual testing?

>he thinks there's a difference

I got paid $60k my first year out of school (and no, not SF/NYC/DC so cost of living was fine). Why should we accept flooding of the labor market? Pajeets come in en masse because we issue so many H1B visas. If entry level tech wages equalized with other industries, Americans would have less of an incentive to enter it in the first place, resulting in fewer American senior developers years down the line, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy about the abundance of Pajeets in tech. None of the highly skilled and experienced Pajeets I've worked with immigrated as such - they all started at the entry level (dumb/lazy Pajeets get fired and sent back), and I doubt we have such a shortage of native talent at the entry level. Zuckerberg et. al. can afford to spend a bit to attract talent to tech from other industries.

No, because it's kind of obnoxious. I get the sentiment behind it, but it comes across like you are being dishonest, and trying to be someone who you aren't. Some people might take it that you are talking down to them too. Unless you're really good at putting on a fake accent, and you can count on those that you are speaking to not know you, and not having a chance to find out one on one at some later point, then I would avoid this approach.

Remember how your mom always told you to just be yourself, but then in high school you found out that she was full of shit? Well, as it turns out she was giving you great real world advice, it's just that high school is not a good reflection of what the real world is going to be like. In the real world people do appreciate you being yourself, instead of some silver tongued devil who is looking to manipulate them.

Want another good tip? Not many people like public speaking, even if they happen to be great at it. Most people are also empathetic towards others, because for social animals that is a deep rooted survival strategy. Come across to your audience as being slightly uncomfortable at the beginning. Maybe make a small mistake and then jokingly correct yourself. Come across as uncomfortable, but cool enough to deal with it like a pro--you certainly don't want to get up there stuttering and babbling. People will put themselves in your place, and warm up to you accordingly.

Chances are no one expects you to routinely deliver something of the same caliber as The Gettysburg Address, and they will probably be more receptive if you don't. If you ever are in a position where you need to deliver one of the great speeches of human history though, by all means do your best to do so.

Skin tone.

If pale, high caste.
If dark, low caste.

Correct for sub-breeds (e.g. Dravidians (Tamils etc.) are darker across the board, in this case go by height and handsomeness).

Yeah but most countries haven't selectively bred intellectual haves and have-nots.

Employ Brahmin if possible.

I really hope drumpf cuts off the flood of H1-B pajeets

found the white virgin from florida

I have a question for indians if you don't mind me asking.

Its no secret that a lot of you guys move to the US and Euro countries, where obviously all indians are just indians regardless of caste. For the ones that have done so, do you/they still care about the caste system? What happens when people from different castes have to work together?

>>POO POO HAHA
This meme is so fucking stupid.

I'm not remotely Indian, but I'll repeat what I've heard from a pro-British Indian.
India is a somewhat artificial (created by British & partition w/Pakistan) as a nation and is a mishmash of very different peoples. Many of the most impressive Indians are Tamil or Bengali Brahmins.
The Indian "babu" is infamous even in India--mindless & bureaucratic, and unable to do anything without forms filled out in triplicate explaining a procedure exactly. Anyone who has dealt with Indian call centers has encountered this type.

Indians are bros, if you think otherwise you just haven't been in India.

The pajeet meme comes from the many (many) shit companies selling outsourcing tech services for the US.

My god:

>Undocumented code.
>Copied and pasted from stackoverflow.
>No support. You call them demanding some explanation to the mess they sell you: "Sorry I don't know".

They literally hire kids that just did codeschool tutorials and shove real world problems at their faces. It's insane, but they are so poor they do it anyways.

Indians are cheap labor that speak english

I've met more indian people than any white person should ever have to meet. 95% of indian males are perverts and worthless pajeets. only 5% are capable humans and most of them will pursue something in a totally different direction than where they could be useful. and they will be good at it too, because they're smart. But once they get their degree they will fuck off and be douchebags because its mot something they really wanted to pursue a career in. as a general rule of thumb any indian male with facial hair can be avoided as they are most likely degenerates.

No, there are many Indians I've met here, and they can't code for shit either.

They are as bad as the Chinese in that they will do anything to get ahead, even if that means cheating their way to pass a degree or lying to get a job, even if they don't have the skills.

That and they smell like shit and are generally rude.

not indian but in a long term relationship with indian girl. her parents went against caste to marry and were ostracized for it. entire family would not speak to them for 25 years. in that time they moved to US to evade caste bullshit and became extremely successful. they basically moved their extended family to US and gave them everything, and their family still hates them and refuses to talk about certain things related to caste system.

tl;dr caste system does not go away just because they move to the U.S. it actually divides families, its like a brain tumor in these people. you would think getting moved to the US, being given a house and being paid living costs would be enough to let that whole caste system thing go but these people can not get over it.

They get the money because they earn it: good people are in high demand and short supply. This is a capitalist website.

I can definitely understand it coming off like that, but it's not something I consciously do anymore.

I have no "accent", I've grown up in all three countries listed and had to learn a second language while I grew up in a fourth.

Best way I can describe it is, you know when someone yawns and you yawn automatically.

When I hear an American talking, I start talking in an American accent involuntarily. Ditto the rest

Do you know what effect constantly discussing Islam and Muslims had on Sup Forums? Thousands of Muslims now post there.

Do you want a similar outcome for Sup Forums

india has like a 10% muslim population you dumb amerifat

Indfag here(south to be more exact), outside of india its not really a big deal because you cant really discriminate people here.

The system still exists in india but its more in rural villages while in bigger towns and cities for most middle class type people its not really a big deal(unless it comes to marrying someone then its sometimes a problem like this anons gf family).

But for just daily life, as long as you arent some street shitting cleaner or their kid, most people wont bother you. Im probably from a lower caste(family converted 4 generations ago) but my father never had problems in life. I met some of his friends in india and he was well liked as he used to play cricket/soccer/volleyball tournaments for the company and used to sing and play the guitar during our community functions. Hes even friends with a guy who is a millionaire and whose family has ties to the movie industry(b list star, think ryan gosling/JGL). No one has asked me my caste, its probably cause I dont carry myself like someone who is from a poor family if that makes sense.

Pic related, think of caste like this today. Namond is from a middle class family, michael & randy are from poorer families but they dont carry themselves like theyre from poor or low caste. That leaves dookie, if you just look at the guy you know hes from a low caste just by the way he carries himself & acts around other people and the clothes he wears. Poor & low caste people can have different personalities but im just giving a basic example that I think fits well.

If youre average intelligence and work hard, its easier for you to pass as a person from a low caste, say we are all going for a job at some company or with the government. Some jobs are reserved, and some of these lower caste people have to just get something like 40-55% to pass while people from middle & high caste have to get 70-80%+.

Forgot the pic, forgive any mistakes I made in english. Half asleep and need to wake up in a couple hours to trade.
