Which version of office is the utorrent 2.0.4 of office?

2016 is fine

2016 was a shit year

2010, it's the last Office not to contain telemetry and the last Office with decent font rendering. Just get the iso with SP2 integrated and you're good to go.

>using utorrent ever

Yea Office 2010 seems to be the last version. I still have the original discs for Office 95 and Office 97 which are perfectly usable still today. They take up no space in comparison and provide 90% of the functionality imo.

Consider LibreOffice and qBittorrent instead

The missing 10% being the "x" at the end of the file extensions? No big deal if you're only working on files locally or publishing to PDF before distribution, but God help you collaborating with your typical office staff otherwise.

>WAIT IT SAYS THIS IS IN THE WRONG FORMAT WHAT DO I DO

Pretty sure all newer versions can open old versions. Problem is going to be older versions opening newer versions. Same with old versions of Corel Office. New versions can save in older formats so it should work mostly fine.

2010 or 2007. If it weren't for docx/pptx/xlsx, the winner would have been 2003.

2010 is perfect, it takes only 50mb ram and have all the features you need and no bloat or botnet

office 2003

I use r+rutorrent but libreoffice is just SHIT if you do actual work

2003 with the Office Compatibility Pack to allow reading/saving docx files

...

this

Office 365

I don't even need to pirate it, I can buy any software I fucking want as long as I can justify it to my boss

Why not use LaTeX? Maybe Asciidoc?

>MUH BINARY CLUSTERFUCK FORMATS

>boss, I'm certain a youporn premium account will prove to be a valuable asset to the company

2013 since it works with wine now

only problem is that it's slow as shit because some memer thought it would be a good idea to make a word processor gui with dx11

2010 but its slower to load and needs configuration. 2013 is a lot faster to load and navigate but prob has the microsoft botnet built in but its not as intrusive as 2016's "subscribe for office 365!".
I would rather use 2007 for the menus.

I do actual work and I've never had a problem

>2010 but its slower to load
What? A Core2Duo laptop.

>needs configuration
They all 2010, 2013 and 2016 come configures the same. The official ISOs at least.

You are wrong. For instance 2010 opens all excel files in single instance instead of as separate windows. Have multiple monitors? Tough luck. 2010 is the only version that does it as well, they fixed it in 2013. I'm actually surprised people shill 2010 here, but I guess you don't need much to write homework in word.

>2010 opens all excel files in single instance instead of as separate windows
Nope. It's optional in 2010. On top I have two different xls files in two different windows, at bottom they're on the same window.

Why would you recommend trash software?

No, you don't

Send a opendocument to your boss (when you leave the basement and have one) and see what happens

qbittorent is decent and its search engine makes it worth a shot

I could use this thread

Since kat died and shit where can you DL software without too much ransomware

office 2003

last version before "oh, let's hide ALL OF THE FUCKING OPTIONS AND FEATURES! MODERN! YAY!"

libreoffice can save as docx.

>Spend entire night writing in LO writter
>usb it to work
>Open the document in ms office
>Text is all over the place
>Font is diffrent
>Weird symbols
>Everything is fucked
>My boss things I broken the computer

Freeshit is for people which time worth nothing

Not him, but I use Office 2010 and LibreOffice and never had any compatibility issues. The only thing that LibreOffice completely fails at is Base, or whatever the equivallent of Access is called nowadays. Aside from that it's woking perfctly.

You never did something with more than basic text, like inserting pictures or graphs then save it as docx and open it with word. That's were the pain is.
