Ever turn on the lights when you go to the bathroom at night?
f.lux is proprietary pig disgusting
use redshift faggot
>turn redshift on
>immediately feel pain in eyes
yes
>don't use f.lux ever
>install f.lux and run it
>immediately feel pain in eyes
What did they mean by this
Better yet, use nothing. Adjust your monitor settings.
>doing repetitive things manually
>while at a computer, a machine literally designed to do repetitive things automatically
Better yet, don't use a monitor. Learn to use a screen reader.
...
>f.lux is running for a while
>look at phone
>BLUE
big reason to use lineageos
or get a phone that isn't sh*t so you get updates and new features
Why not just calibrate your monitor properly?
6500k with 120cd/m2 brightness is perfect.
f.lux gave me more eyepain than it ever solved. It was also annoying as hell when it would lower the brightness while you were watching a movie or show. Just select some darker backgrounds. It's the same basic effect and much less of a pain in the ass.
for some odd reason my eyes hurt more with Flux and similar software on
>installed ubuntu
>mfw no f.lux
>had to go back to windows by orders from my doctor
>>>>>redshift
It's not as comfy
Even better: don't use a computer and kys.
There a apps for that too :^)
It helps me when using only the monitor as light source or if you also have a light which can be adjusted so the blue colours get filtered.
Helped my eyes and to some extend also my sleeping schedule. Don't know if its only placebo. I like it tho.
What the fuck do you mean? You set it up and leave it be
It's shit though, it's supposed to be yellow and not fucking red
Yellow
>yellow
>>yellow
>>>yellow
>>>>yellow
What
???????
Never used Redshift, but f.lux makes the screen look sort of sepia-ish.
use scripts you fucking retard
Fucking liberal faggots protesting in airports, lel
the name is blue filter. let the pc in a full blank white screen with flux on and look at the reflex of the light
>scripts
And just how are you expecting to execute those scripts on the hardware in the monitor?
my OS can controll brightness of the backlight, gamma, etc. to run the script, I simply press alt+f2, write "bri" and press enter...
And the people who use f.lux or redshift don't have to press anything.
