I fucking love SSDs

I fucking love SSDs

You're kidding, right? I get higher speeds with my HDD.

I get higher speeds doing this manually.

>he thinks his spinning rust can reach 80MB/s on pure random writes

I get higher speeds across my LAN, from HDD to HDD.

> he has no idea what the fuck he is talking about

Enjoy your potato tier PC OP.

>copying 1 item

Cute.

>1 item

Heh, once that buffer gets full you know that speed drops like a rock.

Here is like 900MB of pictures transferred between my two SSDs,

Was hard to grab a screen shot in time.

A bunch of jpeg/pngs is still a mixed workload, plenty of sequential work there, your mozilla+thunderbird folder with 60k files and around 10 profiles is purely a random workload that most cheapshit TLC and even some shit controller MLC SSDs choke on.

>random writes
>posts sequential write speed
Yeah, he's totally the one who doesn't know what he's talking about.

>plenty of sequential work there
Yeah in the realm of a few MB at most.

The largest pictures I would have would be MAYBE 6MB.

Here is ~19,000 files and ~7GB in size.

Low point on the graph is ~75MB/s, High point around 170MB/s

What SSD? That's pretty decent for a lot of random crap.

One is a Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD

It's being bottlenecked in both directions by my Seagate 600 480GB SSD that I'm transferring files from.

950 Pro easily would manage faster performance if it were being fed by a faster drive.

Here is the Seagate SSD to compare

>OP picture is duplicating lots of small files onto the same drive
>DURRR MY FILES COPY QUICK FROM ONE DRIVE TO ANOTHER ALSO IT'S A LARGE SEQUENTIAL FILE

kys yourself to peaces

This was a bumpworthy post.

SHIZUKU POSTERS GET OUT REEEEEEE

>tfw you upgrade to a laptop with an SSD

Shizuku version is the primary version

please user, you MUST know windows time estimation on that is just pulling numbers from a hat.

what happens if I do this?

It's 900MB, at 120-200MB/s

It took like ~5 seconds at most.
