Seems settled then. can't steam stream to arm. Moonlight is your only option.

Just buy 4 deluxe-mega dragon dildos and try to shove them all up your ass. Now gtfo here kiddo, this board is for professional IT specialists.

>gtfo kiddo

rekt then kekt

I only buy superior Nvidia products and you should too. Many new games aren't compatible with AMD due to lack of interest.

ayyymd BTFO again

Check benchmarks for stuff you're going to use it for (a.k.a what gaymes you'll be playing, see for yourself which one perfoms better in said use, compare prices, buy. Was it really that hard?

Didn't amazon have fury x's on sale for $300 not too long ago?

rx480

...

Why are you amd niggers comparing a rx 480 8gb with a gtx 1060 3gb ?

because of price.

Same price.

this, you can get an 8gb rx 480 for $200

WHY
CAN'T YOU

I wish, but they dont ship to my third qorld country. My only option is amazon and pay an extra 35% for taxes and shipping.
Its cheaper than my country

AMD drivers are the absolute worst

good luck watching anything in full screen mode

You can use generic Microsoft drivers to watch movies in 4k on rx480

yayyyy sounds great

let me sell my superior GPU to buy a 300 dollar door stop and use generic drivers

Nvidia drivers are literal botnets.

just shows how moronic your argument is, really.

I mostly buy AMD cards because they usually give the most bang for your bucks.

Why don't you just use tomshardware.com or other review sites to help you? As mentioned other places in this thread, if you have special needs for NVIDIA then that's probably the only choice you have.

I have a Radeon RX460 with only two gb ram, but it works well enough with the games I usually play.

As someone who used to defend AMD, I hope I never came off this snarky

I'm not even defending AMD in this instance.
I don't even own AMD at this very moment.
Stupid arguments stand on their own, if you can't accept that, then you are a fanboy.

I'd rather buy NVIDIA than AMD. In just 1,5 years, the price for NVIDIA has gone up from around $20 to $115. That's a lot.

Or did I misunderstand and you weren't talking about stocks?

bleh amd drivers are top notch for 1.5 years now

you cant say the same for nvidia.. each release is worst than the previous one and there is no end to it..

>Stock
I don't know how you came to this conclusion.

Also wouldn't be more intelligent to buy stocks in both of them, why just go after one?

>I don't know how you came to this conclusion.
>I don't even own AMD at this very moment.

Intentional misinterpretation.

I checked out AMD too, they've also risen like 5x their value in the beginning of 2016. This kind of surprised me. I thought NVIDIA was leading, and AMD was more or less dead both at processors and graphic cards, but they're not even close to being dead.

RX480

>they're not even close to being dead.
And thank God for that, too. They're the _only_ reason we don't have $1500 chips being the norm from Intel/Nvidia.

You're either a shill or ignorant, either way your wrong.

RX480

I don't know what credit to give the 1060 anymore other the fact that it's more efficient and has compact models.

where do you live?

The efficiency differance isn't even that big.

GTX 1060 6GB (3.8 TFLOPS FP32) furmark: ~120 watts
Rx 480 8GB (5.1 TFLOPS FP32) furmark: ~170 watts

GTX 1060 6GB: ~32 GFLOPS FP32/watt
Rx 480 8GB: ~30 GFLOPS FP32/watt

The real interesting part is that as ayymd drivers get better it will perform about 35% faster than the 1060. Getting a 1060 right now would be like shooting yourself in the foot.

>Many new games aren't compatible with AMD due to lack of interest.
kek, this bait 10/10

>GTX 1060 6GB (3.8 TFLOPS FP32) furmark: ~120 watts
GTX 1060 is 4.7 TFLOPS at least
>it will perform about 35% faster than the 1060
In your poo-filled dreams.

I swore off team green after the bullshit nvidia driver blacklisting in VMs. Literally if nvidia thinks your running their consumer drivers in a vm they will refuse to run because they think you should have bought quadro. Obviously this can be fixed with a setting in kvm but not ESXi. After GTX480 being the last card softmodable into quadro and not wanting to solder resistors to trick a card into working with it's own drivers, basically FUCK NVIDIA.

Also RX460/GB cost me 90$ at launch and runs great. Passes through great. I have no need for >1080res games.

*4GB

>GTX 1060 is 4.7 TFLOPS at least
nope, they tested it and it could only pump out 3.8 TFLOPS under maximum load. This is why the Rx 480 was so god damned popular with buttcoin miners. It was able to deliver 5.1 TFLOPS of FP32 under maximum load.

Anyway the 480 is beating the 1060 in most games being released right now by 10-15%. Things look really bad for nvidia right now especially if AMD got their shit together and improved their drivers.

Fact is nvidia can't squeeze more performance out of their 3.8 TFLOP 1060 anymore. At best they can force their card to render games partially in FP16 to give the illusion of better performance until a few nerds notice it and give nvidia the worst PR imaginable.

even supports AMD VCE

...

They have been on sale at cheaper prices than the RX480

what website was this?

every website, those benchmarks have been pasted around the internet as the 1060 became o one of the biggest laughing stocks on the internet

NVIDIA Stream is shit, limited to 720p
