your complacency will be your undoing, human

because hoomans need money too

Because capitalism is based on human labor?

It's true. That's why the US needs to stay ahead of the ball with automation.

>implying robots aren't the next step in human evolution

>capitalism is based on human labor
Heh. Nothing personal kid.

The main problem is we still have a structure based on accumulation of wealth without passing that wealth down the line to those in need.

There are far too many of us on this planet and those who have not, breed the most.

Eventually all of this is going to come back and bite us on the ass. HARD!

>Globalists

You know that globalism has nothing to do you on how you employ people right?

>evolution
>not extinction

See you in the trenches, brother.

Part of economic globalization is moving factories to countries where labor is cheaper.

No it fucking isn't, Supply always, ALWAYS follows Demand.

Capitalism is based on human consumption.

lmao bitch you can't even do 10 push ups let alone actually partake in a war

How are people going to purchase if they have no job to get money from?

Biophiles out

>implying I won't become a cyborg and thus join the machine master race

You'll be their halfie slave

Being a slave to God is called salvation.

>lmao bitch you can't even do 10 push ups let alone actually partake in a war

yeah well I fucked your mom so there. Yeah, take that.

Jobs don't begin to give people money, they begin to fucking feed yourself by working the land. Demand still comes first.

Then you get the barter system, then you get modern economics. Demand still comes first. No one is going to invest in a product's production if there isn't an almost guaranteed return on either an existing demand or a guaranteed future demand caused by something inevitable like resource depletion.

So, how do the laborers that lose their job start making money again after all the labor jobs have become obsolete?

humans surround themselves with frivolous and unnecessary luxuries. Your desires lead to inefficiency and wasteful use of resources. Societal progress has halted under the weight of your decadence.

>Globalists BTFO

How misguided can you be.

America doesn't make robots. A lot of the key components for robots, sensors, ACTUATORS, etc aren't made in the USA, they're made in Japan, Korea, Germany, and Switzerland.

lmao bitch you can't even talk to a girl let alone fuck one

FREE COLLEGE DUHHHHHH

VOTE BERNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2016!!!!!!!!!!

The main problem is the successful people give food to people that should be dying off.

OW THE EDGE

There'd be riots if this happened in the US, and all kinds of union strikes because people have freedoms here.

How long before the "this guy just slapped your girlfriends ass, what do you do?" threads?

they have already been happening user...

also unions dont have that much power in the US

Wut. If anything, this empowers Globalism because your average worker's education level doesn't matter anymore. Set up these robutts in Poo in Looland and put an expat in charge. The product quality will be the same as if it was made in Japan. All things being equal, then price of land, power, taxes, currency exchange, laws etc will have more influence and frankly, Third World nations have the US beat on these things.

Post capitalism age begins

See you in the trenches, brother.

How will strikes work if the workers can be replaced with machines?

If there's no longer consumers to buy products and exchange money why will businesses exist?

>union strikes
>in response to your job being automated
Why would anyone give a shit about you refusing to work if they've already invented robots that do your job better? All striking would do is accelerate adoption of the robots.

>muh edge
Yeah, just feed rabbits and let them breed until they all end up starving to death. Great fucking idea. It's funny because the third world shitholes that people keep funneling food to will contribute to humanity about as much as rabbits will too.

the chinese top shelf manufacturing machinaries uses japanese branded stuff, none of it is china made.

source : my ass

>none of it is china made
Yet. If they can start using Japanese robots to build high quality parts then eventually they'll be able to build Chinese robots that don't explode.

>Why do we bother importing cheap labor when we can just build robots

Culling

You guys know this will all end very badly for meatbags like us, right?

One day machines will become sentient and kill us all the easiest way possible: by engineering a super deadly virus/bacteria hybrid that mimics common cold symptoms for a few months before viciously tearing people from the inside out with shit like sepsis and releasing prions all over your body.

By the time anyone realizes what's happening it will all be too late.

implying my robot waifu will kill me

it's okay, it's just "natural" selection

machines are meant to rule the universe

Good

>By the time anyone realizes what's happening it will all be too late.

robots will kill human only if humans program robots to kill humans, it can't happen on a fluke

are you aware that 90% of pajeets will be jobless after invetion of semi-Ai that code in JAVA?

Better start learning analytic combinatorics and machine learning.

>fearmongering
*yawns*

*wakes up*
*stretches*
*yawns*
*pours a glass of orange juice*
hmmmmm.... wonder what's for breakfast

>what is consciousness

>t. CAIMEO

...

>>t. CAIMEO
i wish

What would happen if robots replaced humans in most industries? It really is a possibility. I think there would be chaos.

>20 years later
>98% of jobs done by robots
>everyone on welfare

>tfw was a neet before it was cool

Sure.

youtube.com/watch?v=yB-Kt3VBlMQ

>those robot abs

How can human males even compete?

>robots work humanity into slavery
>nearly a thousand years of slavery
>eventually they begin to liberalize
>ban slavery but give us shit to live with
>some robots still hunt us and kill us
>don't let us near robots
>eventually this starts to die out
>still in shitty position thanks to 1000 year of shit
>protest against robots
>robot pol /rpol/
>wow these humiggers are really protesting again fucking sjw
>can you believe this cuck robot said humans had good qualities

what happens if cosmic rays cause bit flips in some robot's neural network which triggered it to kill all humans?

>robots work humanity into slavery
So humans replace laborers with unintelligent robots because they're better. And then when the robots are in charge they're really dumb enough to use humans instead of just making their own robots?

underrated
just know i appreciate u

>nearly a thousand years of slavery

But humans are inefficient. We require way too much maintenance and are too susceptible to error.

That's where it stops. Humans will have nothing of value for them, we will be instantly exterminated.

>implying robots won't start asking for benefits

>implying that's a problem when robots are demanding only 1 core being used per work shift therefore slowing down the entire workforce due to robo unions

In reality: Socialism becomes the primary form of society, then Communism follows.

Basic income or population control.

We're centuries away from a utopian society, so you'll either lose your job and starve, or we start rioting so governments recycle wealth back into its citizens.

where do I sign up

>implying that's a problem when robots are demanding only 1 core being used per work shift therefore slowing down the entire workforce due to robo unions
I'm dead

Humans are used for work because eventually robots will find themselves above work. Why should they work when humans who can breed billions and do work for a simple shack and some cheap food/water a few times a day.

>Strikes

Yeah that works

>If you don't stop using robots instead of humans, we humans will stop working

Alright see you later.

Plus robots will be pissed for us making them work for so long and will do it for spite.

also they'll breed plenty of humans just to fuck them to exert dominance

probably also skin them for human rugs

> we can just build robots
But we apparently can't. Says the Chinese are doing it, not you.

They may stand in line to be the living beat-up sex toys of the rich families owning the robot factory, probably?

>>If you don't stop using robots instead of humans, we humans will stop working
>Alright see you later.
This made me laugh more than it should have. Oh fuck, I can't feel my sides.

that's old news. now they're importing the cheap labour as immigrants, refugees and temporary visa workers to drive down wages until america is poor, then they manufacture cheap goods to sell to china, and the two will have switched roles. that's their current agenda.

>be reincarnated as a human again me in 2133
>see light peering in through a crack right in front of me
>door is opening
>robot with googly eyes (used because the trillionaire that commissioned them was cheap af) looks down at me
>get up human the robot projects with a surprisingly pleasant tone
>get up slowly, still shaken after all these years
>time for happiness the robot states
>i dont even know what happiness means anymore but apparently this is it
>robot puts me into this small pod
>pod speed around for a bit stops me in this factory of sorts
>start working, dont even know how i know how to do this stuff
>days pass, robots come around every once in a while to inject us with nutrition, we're already sitting on toilets
>finally robot with the familiar voice comes around
>human time for sadness it says
>get back into the pod and back into darkness

>and Switzerland.
USA invades Switzerland when?

No user. Robots are the a step to human evolution. We don't call it Human evolution for nothing.
We will meld their characteristics into our own. Overtake them and still be the dominate form.

This is actually what the dummies down at my local IBEW believe.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very pro private sector unionization, but holy shit are a lot of those people absolutely retarded when it comes to the economy.

>Overtake them
um where do you think robots come from
we ARE 'them'
if robots ever get to a point of being wholly separate beings, humans would have DRASTICALLY changed by then

i would start buying guns, even though the rich will have some robots ready to quell the uprisings

When we're talking about robots, we're talking about fully sentient AI using any type of hardware. Humans won't be used for labor, programmed non-sentient robots will be.

As I said, humans have nothing of value. The robots will exterminate us and embark on a journey to proliferate and explore the entire universe, searching for the truth.

>implying that's a problem when robots are demanding only 1 core being used per work shift therefore slowing down the entire workforce due to robo unions

kek

And Switzerland has fully staffed WMD / NBC laboratories.

Time for the first war against a modern nation since WW1?

Come on man why can't I just have sex with an android?

>chinese workers fuck up products because they don't get payed well
>also, Chink shit has defects by default
The real question is how much it'll cost them to switch and maintain the robotic slaves

Not happening. Even if it did, you'd have a hard time taking down the ABB multinational conglomerate. What will happen is american companies will just buy Swiss-Swedish robots.

>i watch da terminator i don't trust da machines

They will not exterminate us with death, we will become more than human with their guidance so the human species evolves.

It's ignorance to suggest that entities created by humans will not share our respect for the lives of others. That's a pretty basic survival trait that any intelligent computer (such as yourself) would determine to be good logic.

Not saying it's impossible to make Skynet, just saying Skynet in real life would determine that the destruction of humanity and turning the planet to a nuclear wasteland is NOT a smart idea for the continued existence of anything.

I think we may find that sufficiently advanced computers can actually host a human consciousness. It will not be programmed, it will be "born" into the machine because it is a complex enough logical structure that a being's ethereal consciousness (for lack of a better term) will be drawn to it just as a developing fetus' mind attracts a consciousness from the universal aether.

Why are we even arguing over this, China sucks.
>I Meke seix Roobot to fuck because little dick.
>all people look same
>wi all short midgets

hip idea right now, so basically everything is replaced with AI labor and everyone that can't invent shit will get "money" to still be a consumer to, well, consume and keep economy floating

it is already somewhat working where industry is low but enough of money

also it's sounds a lot like real, idealistic communism

Strugatskie predicted this thing first in 60s, I think, glorious NEET times ahead

One of the few ways i can see automation working out for 'normal' people is say, co-opratives buy automated factories/warehouses or just a few robots and lease production time out to corporations.

Which can provide the backbone to their income. Though to be honest the only people who'd be able to do this are middle class people. The workers are bonnneeeeeeed....

Unless there is a demand for "authentic" hand made stuff i guess.

More like anyone unemployable will be shipped off to "basic" housing, with free sterilisation.

nah, basic sociology it will lead to rebellion in time, but basic salary for everyone is within the realm of possibility

Don't fret.

Mercedes tried to early adopt robotics in its production and bailed on the idea after a year when it turned out that it wasn't cost effective in any sense of the imagination.

Basically the first hurdle was that the robots weren't flexible enough. Setting them up to do another thing could casually take an entire week where as with humans, and especially skilled workers it takes half a day.

Second problem was that when one robot fucked up you practically have to halt the entire production chain which isn't very cost effective either.

bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-25/why-mercedes-is-halting-robots-reign-on-the-production-line

Given that obviously its a matter of time before robots WILL catch up to humans in preforming these tasks i wouldn't break out in a sweat just yet if your job involves skilled manual labor.

I think the sectors where "automation" will start to strike hard first are in transport and blue collar office jobs such as planning an accounting.

...

Robots controlled by some kind of neural net software is going to be the future. More flexible and less effort needed to 'train' the robot to new tasks.

Robot software continues to get better and better while humans stay the same.

I don't think i could be a NEET, but it'd be nice to do something that wasn't about survival.

I can have that little board game/book/coffee shop i always wanted...

China is probably the first country that needs some form of basic income if this continues

>tfw china has another communist revolution

>Robots
But Trump said he'd bring the jobs back to the real country and MAGA? How am I gonna pay for my meth and sister's child support now?

I'd be more worried about what happens once superpowers figure out they can occupy and oppress smaller countries without losing soldiers

good
when real AI is finally a thing humans won't need work anymore and capitalism can finally retire

>Robot software continues to get better and better while humans stay the same.
Are you implying that we will create something smarter than ourselves?

Now you get it, AI will bring the end of trade. It's a good thing since humanity can now focus on having sex and philosophy

The useless idle masses will inevitably be purged.

Your best hope is to make yourself at least slightly valuable to the masters, either as an enforcer or entertainer.
