>PC at wrok, running Windows 10 "Pro" yesterday asked for downloading and installing "Anniversary" update >Hit it and left PC at night to run update, because Im curious, if it will reset settings or bring back apps >Check it today - default wallpaper, Edge adn Shop back on taskbar >Pissed off, begin checking settings and Group Policies - everything is left intact >Run PowerShell and check packages lists and provisioned packages >EVERYTHING is back - Twitter, Skype, "Solitaire Collection", Xbox, Bing, Groove, etc, even in "provisioned packages" list >At home I hve laptop with "Pro N" aka European version and I remember it behave differently >Turn it on, run update and check everything >Wallpaper, settings and policies left intact >No Skype, no Twitter, no Bing apps, no Groove >"Solitaire Collection" and Xbox apps are back tho
You guys didnt lied when you said that N versions are better.
It did brought back two apps, tho.
Anybody knows if Education act the same?
Benjamin Evans
install windows server 2016
Jason Rodriguez
I guess it wont face such problems, yeah, but is it really usable as desktop OS?
I mean, I would rather expect it to come rather barebone and would require setting up everything manually.
Matthew Martinez
windows server 2016 has a massive loss in performance. Linus proved that.
Asher Gutierrez
What kind of memes are you falling into here. Just run a regular pro version clean. Then run blackbird v6 on it to purge it from botnet.
William Hall
(((blackbird)))
Zachary Williams
codename for another epic botnet
Tyler Myers
No, no, no, Im not talking about memes, I just said that while regular "Pro" version did brought back lots of shit, while "Pro N" didnt, except for Xbox app and that pitful Solitaire, which takes 2 seconds to remove.
Both didnt change settings tho.
Hunter Sanders
where is the source code for blackbird
Lucas Bell
what the actual fuck am i looking at
Owen Fisher
HE REALLY DID IT THIS CAN'T BE REAL HE FELL FOR IT

Grayson Myers
>He thinks a shitty script can stop the kernel level botnet/backdoors.
hahah fucking wintards I swear
Mason Hall
What version of windows is that?
Sebastian Sullivan
Linux doesn't have this problem
Tyler Allen
>he unironically believes linux isn't botnet
Zachary Price
unsupported windows version or no admin.
William Nguyen
build 15019
Jaxson Powell
absolutely, my dude. the only thing more audited than Linux is your mum
Ayden Gutierrez
>the only thing more audited than Linux is your mum fucking hell
Christopher Robinson
>Insider build
Why would you want to remove phoning home from build that is supposed to be tested and collect opinions, suggestions and statistics from users?
Jackson Mitchell
because fuck the matriarchy
Christopher Campbell
What does the Blackbird REALLY do?
All the authors says is that it does "good things", but while scripts running around at least can be checked, this software dont list out what it exactly do.
I dont really like the idea of running some "black box" program.
Ian Ward
switches off all the registry stuff if you know what to look for you can check that it actually does something and that has a real effect on your system
but yeah, the source code would be nice, that's why I don't use it either
Nathan Brown
you can just write your own script for this, for automated registry changes/group pol shit and use it between your wangblows 10 s
tho just seriously delete sys32 install linux
David Sanders
>windows users run arbitrary code from the internet with administrator privileges
MS spying on you is the least problem you have.
Gabriel Fisher
registry of course however I have no clue how he deactivated Cortana and other system processes with his gay script needs source srsly
Zachary Johnson
>administrator privileges No.
Ethan Thomas
Not massive, around 5%
Brody Kelly
If all it does it changing registry and group policies, then I already know how to do it manually and recently was checking if I cant make PS script to change GP values automatically.
Asher Brown
I deactivated Cortona with powershell script.
Brandon Evans
Can be done from Group Policies too. And Education comes without her anyway.
Caleb Green
>PC at work
>running some shady "scrpit"
Aiden Reed
>blackbird v6 Does not work on my Windows 10 cloud :(((
Oliver Fisher
So, anybody tested Education in similar way?
Colton Lee
>wrok
Jacob Diaz
Yes, should be work. I know.
James Hernandez

Jordan Mitchell
How useful is Cortona? i-is she cute
Bentley Brooks
>Install LTSB >No update nagging >No Store >Not a single Windows App at all by default
