minification is done to avoid needing to send useless whitespace characters over the wire.
All modern browsers can un-minify code from within the dev tools.
Minified code isn't just to hide things. It's also to decrease bandwidth cost and parse times. Even free software should ideally do this, but provide a link to the non-minified version in a comment.
