Putty

What do I write in putty if I want a list of all users who currently have the "screen" process running?

Oh, and Putty thread.

Other urls found in this thread:

kitty.9bis.net/

grep the output of ps aux for screen lazy

just use w | grep 'screen'.

Thanks for the tip!

no problemo, hombre.

>not using tmux

whowatch

Why on earth would anyone use tmux over putty?

lol

>being this stupid
Real question is, why aren't you using KiTTY?

Why on earth would anyone use KiTTY over Putty?

lol

It's a fork of PuTTY with added features. You're literally retarded.

>being so casual that you need added features

>thinking tmux and putty are similar things

Like what?

Exactly

>use Tera Term for class labs in Cisco
>guy who was cert'ed 3-4 years ago comes in and already knows everything
>joins my lab group
>here use this, no one uses that other crap
>pulls out his putty.exe on a flash drive
>its amazing

I like putty

I'm geniuenly interested, what addtional features does it have?

I'm not sure if PuTTY have auto-login, but KiTTY does.

Being able to auto-login on session start or login back in if your session gets terminated. Very helpful when you've moving from class to class or spotty internet.

There's way more than that

>auto-login
Sadly irrelevant for me because we are using OTP at work, and I'm using keypair auth at home.
>login back in if your session gets terminated
Meh, already using tmux for that.

They are not the only things just major ones that I use: kitty.9bis.net/

>Meh, already using tmux for that.
Saves time on my part rather than having to restart the session and type everything back in.

Who the fuck uses putty when you could just run an actual Linux so you could just use SSH

Everyone working in an IT company?

>running Windows on your work machine
By "it company", did you mean slowly failing manufacturing plant in the rust belt? Do you use access to manage your plant's inventory? I bet you voted trump, you ignorant slut.
