qbittorrent

Literally anything else is a botnet.

deluge bc it is't evil like torrent and never gave me a reason to use anything else

this desu

How do I download and not get letters from ISP, do I have to pay for a VPN?

Halite

Depends on what you download.

what if I download a car

you wouldn't

>trannysubmission
I'm not gay though?

I've never gotten letters from my ISP (Time Warner) for downloading.

How come qbittorrent still can't selectively download files within a torrent without downloading loads of files which you told it not to?

Deluge has a few neat additional options for scheduling, but both are great.

opera 12

I did it for about half a year some years ago. Then downloading one random movie and my flatmate got the letter, kek.

Traps are not gay, you dummy.

Use the highest encryption setting possible, never got me in trouble.

Sure that's your isp?

[old uTorrent version]

Speedy runup these gays can have?

Tixati

This is the correct answer

Torrents are severely outdated and risky now that every tech related company is going against them. Just use direct download, it's faster and safer in everyway.

I wonder who could be behind this post?

Deluge because qbittorrent has massive queuing issues.

Deluge is what I've been using for years now.

uTorrent 3.4.9 is good

just disable all the ads and telemetry and you're golden

this

2.2.1

Qbittorrent since deluge leaked my ISP IP even with SOCKS5 enabled

qb, because Deluge is a dysfunctional neckbeard meme.

You can use qBittorrent to search for torrents. You don't even have to leave the comfort of your client to get the torrent you need

TFW halite hasn't been updated since 2015

Deluge - I've never been caught or sent a ISP notice when I used it.

rutorrent

Deluge has a plugin to automatically sort your Chinese cartoons, so Deluge.

qBittorrent is like a FOSS up-to-date utorrent without the ads and the telemetry. Same looks and feels too.

They're called animes and they're Japanese, you stupid.

No one cares what you and your friends call Vietnamese slideshows, user.

kek

please do not disrespect my precious Laotian flipbooks

THIS THIS THIS

qt transmission.

Your on a Filipino image flipping board. The not gay train has passed.

I don't know man but I fucking hate it. I think it has to do with how torrents actually work, but couldn't they at least delete the vestigial parts of files that were unwantedly downloaded?

uTorrent 2.2.1
/thread

Tixati.

Deluge because I run it headless at home and access it via web-client from work

Tixati and uTorrent (spit) can both manage to selectively download files without any problem. They delete any vestigial files. The qbittorrent devs continue to claim it is impossible and that it is not a problem because the partly downloaded files you didn't want are just placeholders, which is just bullshit.
They mark it WONTFIX every time it comes up

Same.

Though when I lived elsewhere Comcast on day did, I think also once your ip is flagged they seem to monitor and send you more because for years I got nothing at first.

>except every forum using 20 different download hosters and I'm not fucking paying for "premium" no waiting time for all of them

>1900 open tickets
Unless you do it yourself I don't see how they will ever get to it.
