Literally Chrome except with a bloated, laggy, un-customizable Javascript UI slapped on top.

Because I don't chug dick

Crashes and too unstable

Because I use Firefox

Why do you keep shilling this shit browser?

I'll bite, what's the pros and cons?

You need a 6 core processor and 20GB RAM just to handle all the built in GUI rice

meme browser but also the goat

>mfw I have an AMD-8350 bulldozer

how's the language support?

Vivaldi user here. Both clean-boot states and mid-use states give me more favorable hardware usage statistics than firefox/chrome/opera/edge. Facebook and one live chat website have varying issues running. Everything else is god tier.

Except I can't start 10 copies of an MMORPG while the browser is open and then close the browser without it losing my session. But anyone who demands flawless performance while running their PC like a bitch is a tardner, anyway.

I shitlisted Firefox when it dropped hotkey customization.

I shitlisted Chrome because I only have 8 gigs of RAM.

Vivaldi my waifu.

OS? and how would the battery drain in a laptop be compared to both Firefox and Chrome? (Not that hard of a bar to beat)

WX.

Not sure. I use a desktop. I'd assume the CPU and disk usage would be the biggest factors in eating battery life, though, and Vivaldi has had the lowest figures in both criteria of the ~5 browsers I've tried.

Proprietary cancer.

Not op but my personal pros are
>Mouse gestures
You can swipe to go backwards and forward and open new tabs and shit

>hotkeys
You can use hjkl for scrolling, / for search and so on

Because pale moon is better.

This is actually why I love Opera. Of course I had to ditch it after v12.

>hjkl for scrolling
What are you some kind of retard?

>Vivaldi
>sounds kind of like Valve
>splash screen thumbnail looks like it was ripped off from DoTA 2 media
Don't have anything to add, just noticing.

Hello there newfriend! Welcome to Sup Forums (Technology).

For over 40 years or so, the hjkl keys are a standard way of navigating the cursor (the position where typed text is inserted) around the screen. These keys can be reached without moving your hand because they are on the home row.

Enjoy your stay on Sup Forums. You'll find you learn something every day, here!

>You can swipe to go backwards and forward and open new tabs and shit
You're new to browsers, right?

>not a word about privacy ever
You know what it means, user.

>For over 40 years or so, the hjkl keys are a standard way of navigating the cursor
Still a shit way to navigate.

>Still a shit way to navigate.

Then this usefull feature is just not for you. Enjoy your RSI.

Their source code is accessible on their website you dimwitted fuck

I am actually.

using it on my ubuntu machine at home and on my win7 laptop from work and i love it.

When I type in the address bar it doesn't send me to the google botnet sometimes.

Except it's not.
The source code of some of the components they use is there.
But not for the browser itself.

It always sends me to Google's home page, I don't know why this shit happens

Shrugs, when I type it just tells me no address found and tries to treat it like some weird foreign website. I type Sup Forums g, instead of getting me to a google search for g or finding g for me, it just gives me an error. It makes the address bar a lot less useful.

it's buggy as fuck... Opening a new empty tab takes 5+ minutes on my T520. while opening an empty tab in chrome or firefox takes one or two milliseconds.

I can't drag and drop text into a new tab to search for it.
