What's your idle temp?

ThinkPad T420.

Good enough to have the fan turned off.

ancient H100 closed loop at some low settings that i probably broke since it never gets loud
delidded 6700k
around 5 minutes of Prime95
will probably sell this crap once ryzen drops though

Fucked if I know.

...

10-15c above ambient temp usually
stock intel cooler so i'm pretty happy

i go from 22-70* at idle to very stressed.

Oh. H100i V2* on that. Like 18c ambient.

CPU, GPU, GPU WATT

tho fuck all that come RYZEN ill be posting 10C motherfuckers while u intel fags will be BTFO

its like hey my pc has 75 processes in background but hey 4 cores is enough LOL

>36*

thats ridiculous

same

wtf kind of hardware are you guy running

7700k dream meme machine

im short a fan or two as well atm

The AMD experience.

I maintain a temperature of about 36,7ºC when idle and under heavy load as well by taking advantage of an elaborate cooling mechanism involving heat transduction to surface areas, transfer of energy to water molecules of said areas and release if energy through evaporation

How cold is your room temp?

Whys 36 hot to you?

For as long as I can remember 90F-110Fish has always been what my PCs idled

about 21 or 22 degrees C

...

FX 8320 on LN2
135'c

I'm going to be so glad when Ryzen comes out. Should be able to shave 2'c off.

...

I need to give this thing a thorough cleaning sometime.

50-70 celsius. Have used to hit 90 before I update the video card drivers.
Laptops are fun.

also what the fuck is with these "calle" captchas

>thinking idle temps matter at all
>using speccy for measurements

Kys you're selfs

...

If you have an AMD CPU, idle temps are incorrect.

...

Pretty happy with only 8c over room temp, plus a minor overclock.

37ºC

This is very light workload aircooled and overclocked to 4,5GHz

...

Using a h80i closed loop water cooler. Theyre not bad, I swapped out the fans it came with for some noctuas for a bit more quietness

You mongoloids realize speccy is inaccurate right?

...

This is web browsing temps, at actual idle it's upper-mid 20s

Always one cunt wants to spoil other peoples fun. Dont worry nobody will laugh at your jacket potato readings when you post them

And here's my laptop that sits in my bed which actually is fairly idle

(GPU is 38 C in case you can't read the nvidia-smi output)

Never understood why I have about 7°C difference between core 0 and 1

Also sat under a H100i V2 running completely silent

...

Uneven heatsink or not enough thermal paste?

...

>intel atom
I'm sorry

43C

T420 idle @ 68 degrees C.

FX-6300, 44ºC idle @ 26-30ºC room temp.

6700k

>Alaska

About 2-2,5 and 3 fiddy when portage compile stuff

...

UK lol

kind of hot

...

No shit
>haswell

...

Why? It's an 8" tablet.

it's alright

I have an FX cpu so its impossible to know my idle temp exactly (do note gpu isn't idle in this).

...

Gonna be fun once Ryzen is out with it's array of thermal sensors.

The new EVGA cards have 9 sensors as well.
There's also rumors they might make AMD cards in the future.

Glorious times for temperature / system monitoring autists are ahead.

>2017
>downloading porn

>all those USB drives

Must be fun to open the file explorer and having wait for and listen to all those drives spinning up.

same.
Recently I ran at 39. But I fixed that issue and I'm back to normal again

They only do when you are accessing them.

They are all in a single USB 3.0 external and I disabled power saving on the drives so that's not an issue.

Memelake was a mistake

Jewtel should just have called Skylake Icelake

Skylakes run cool as fuck

49-55c

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 oc'd @ 3.0 GHz

pentium at ~4.1g/1.2v
Cozy.

That's a massive difference while having the same hardware.

probably need to reapply paste. may have fucked up when i reinstalled the cpu

outside temp is like 46F and inside is 69F

Have it since 2011, only thing I did to it was to clean the dust every few months, idle varies from 33 to 45 on average
