7/10, handled calls and texts as expected but the keys were ass

Bonus:
My second cellphone.
It's the first ever that I bought. The SE one was a gift.
This is 8/10.
Memory too small, menu was meh and ringtones weren't loud enough in the start.

same phone, just in orange

what are you talking about? there where 128 mb memory available
a song had like 4 so you had more than 30 songs

Got it in 2003
6/10, didn't have color screen and no wap internet

That was my second phone too, still have it somewhere with nudes of my ex on it

Pic, though I can't say anything good or bad about it, as it was dead simple.

K750 though... that was a real 10/10 thing

came here to post almost this

9/10
In some ways it was better than my current Nexus 4:
-better battery life
-fit better in hand and in pocket
-just did the job

Cons:
-no conversational view for texts

Nokia 1110

Pros: Snake game.

ayy that was my first phone too
loved that fucking spaceship game on it

this was probably my 3rd phone, dont remember what I had inbetween

THIS FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT

10/10 it was ok. Got it so I could call my parents since I went to school in another town and they worked a lot so they couldn't drive me to school or pick me up every day.
Called parents a few times, it did the thing.

Bunch of newfags.

Bonus: Got a 3210 not much later. I think I only had the Motorola for maybe half a year. I could then play Snake and send texts. 10/10 it was also ok. It did the thing.

What year was it?

1998 or 1999 as I recall.

...

Mah nigga. I had a MicroTAC in 1992. It cost me a couple bucks a minute to use it, but it made panties drop. A couple years later I worked for a little mom and pop electronics shop that was affiliated with Cingular, so my bill dropped dramatically, and my agreement had unlimited data, which I was told would stick with my account forever. AT&T altered our deal, and all I could do was pray they didn't alter it any further.

2nd is se k300i

What's with the modern phones!

You manlet types need to fuck off back to Reditch or whatever it's called.

Before this I used public BT telephone boxes.

Now fuck off.

Neat !
I've no idea how my (parents') phone bill was back then, I was just a little kid who needed to be able to call parents in case something was up. The MicroTAC used to be my dad's work phone though, he got to keep it after upgrading to something else, and so I inherited it for a bit until the 3210 came around. The 3210 later stuck around as a spare phone in case one of our phones broke, wouldn't be surprised if my parents still have that thing stuffed away in a drawer somewhere today.

i seriously hope that i don't become one of you guys when i hit my 30's and still post on here

You need to be over 18 to post here son.

HTC desire

mitsubishi mt11, handed down from my father
it had no way to turn off sms ringtone, it was super loud too
would annoy the teacher again/10

Nokia 5110.

I still have it somewhere
6/10

The start of a revolution. I got it on the day it was released.

> No text
> No 3.5mm jack
> Original destination.

It was an obvious 10/10 because, well, there was fuck all else going on at the time. Jumped over to Nokia when AMPS shut down in 2000, used this thing till the last day ;_;7

Feel free to take an early mark and fuck off now. It's oldfucks like us who answer most of your stupid questions.

I actually liked the design. My favorite thing was making graphics on it. 12-year-old me had no complaints but I wished I had something better. 8/10

Motorola C355v (MTV Edition)

The one in the photo is green, but mine was blue.

Bought in 2005.

9/10 then k750i came and it was 10/10, would boy again with normal usb and mini jack and not this proprietary connector

and i thought i was young

My sister had the exact same until it was stolen.
Later she got a W595

Had the same one (though, not my first)

And the knob in the middle would fuck up at some point. Very common with this type
7/10

7/10
pretty cool, but not as cool as the razr which was out at the same time
capacitive buttons were nice
non standard heaphone jack, but that was the same for all phones back then.

Didn't it have a fingerprint reader?

I fucking loved it
Prolly spend days playing that maze game as a kid on it

I still think its one of the best looking phones to this day too

Can't remember the first one (could have been a GA 628) but I believe the R310 was my second one.

nope.

Motorola V180.

God damn, ericssons were fucking ugly back then

You definetely stood out with this one. It was/is indestructible though youtu.be/kG4OmgruYyU

Found it on the street and the SIM had already been cancelled so I couldn't give it back. Ironically, I forgot it in a cab. It had a puzzle game about pushing boxes and I loved it.
>color phone
>first phone
Are you literally twelve?

I feel old now

>implying I needed one until high school
t.t610 gut '88

Awesome screen

Let people feel superior just because of their age.

Motorola V600

The ring on the cover was so sexy

This. I bought one about 2000 or so.
After this there was 3310
SE t300
N-Gage

Most likely this one, or one a lot like it.

> 2005
> Fingerprint reader on a normie cell phone

1/10 because you could kill with this thing.

...

This thing was p bassed

That thing was waterproof, everybody wanted that one.

Had a web browser, colour screen, and hella nice version of Snake.

The little fucker still works too. These things were unbreakable. Very solidly put together.

I remember one of the SE ones that have a dark spot on the navigation stick as a fingerprint reader.

Kek, this reminds me of the SL45 meme that's still going on.

1999. Ericson t10s.

Every single external antenna phone WAS SHIT. NO exception.

7.5/10

Yes! Siemenses were so fucking based that times, reliable as fuck, had few myself (C35, ME45, C65) loved it had file managers.

>his first cellphone had a camera
>his first cellphone had a color display

top kek
underage pls leave

man, i miss the old black & white and early color screen cellphones.
i used to read the newspapers only because they often had an ad page dedicated to cellphone wallpapers and old 10 second ringing tones for two quids each.
weird-ass games, No Fear wallpapers, monotune coves of Green Day songs, sharing heavily pixelated early '00s porn clips and blurry VGA cameras. those days were awesome.
i really miss the '90s and early '00s. it was a great time to be a kid.

>he got his first cellphone when he was 6 years old

...

None of them had that. They did have a little notification LED there, though.

...

9/10
Robust af. Lost it in a puddle of water for 5 hours near my school only to find it working perfectly.
Almost no battery discharge while turned off. Last time I charged it was 2.5 years ago.
Has snake game.

GET
ON
MY
LEVEL

Wew, same first phone here too, i remember being the only kid in 1st grade with a phone and how my pants used to fall when i started running around with the phone in my pocked, kek

Good times

Got this when I was 12 and had to get a phone for safety reasons because my school was far away.
It only lasted a cuple of months because I was trying to take funny pictures of y 5yo brother, which got mad and kicked it off my hand and the screen broke.
Since the price to fix it was higher than the phone itself, I got a Motorola C650, which funnily is the one I'm still using today (after those I got after it died, leaving me with the C650 as the only useable one).

I still think pic related looks insanely good.

Newfags everywhere

Actually I got the phone when I was 12. Now I'm 20, color screens have been a thing for quite a while.

8/10
Had a built in flashlight on the power button. Comfortable to use and text on. Power button was a pain in the ass to use though.

Newfags everywhere.

After this it was:
Nokia 5230, BlackBerry Javelin, Lenovo P770, BlackBerry Z3 and currently using iPhone 6.

At one time I did use Nokia 1100 for awhile because my N-Gage QD was in repair for like 2-4 weeks.

I know this makes me a newfag but I'm not underage.

2006 Newfag here. We can't all be oldfags.

25 yo

I kept my N-Gage for 7 years. What a fantastic phone it was.

9.8/10

this mnfg old day when you had to charge your phone once a week

This was muh first phone. Being able to send texts to qts in church and school was the tightest shit.

I had the siemens with the little antenna. Total agree on the design it was goat

Sadly I sold my N-Gage QD to my neighbour, it lasted me from 2005 to 2011 though it served me well. Everytime people looks at me they got confused because they can't tell if I'm playing on my PSP or texting on my N-Gage since I always have PSP with me.

Fun times indeed, my only gripe with it is just the rubber but even then I only replaced it 3 times over the course of 6 years.

Trium Astral

was in the late 90s
It could call and sms and that was it

That keyboard looks shway

Is this the first one with color screen?

my phone history:
>nokia 3310
>LG KP500
>Iphone 3GS
>Samsung S3 mini
>Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 pro

No that was the s10

In retrospect, pretty much anything beyond a phone like this was pointless, save for a phone with a qwerty keyboard for texting or emails if you need it for business. The cameras were nothing more than a novelty, and next to uselessl. Color screens were essentially the same issue because they were too low resolution too see much of anything, only there to use of more of the phones battery and increase costs.

A phone like this had everything you needed to call and text (save for a qwerty keyboard).

The first one I was using was Nokia 720
The rubber buttons were comfy
Beautiful green button backlight
It worked
Heavy as fuck
8/10 for the buttons
It is still somewhere in the garage, carefully packed

I got a Motorola 2 liner red LED phone handed down to me but this was my first purchase

you could do some crazy shit with that phone.

it's the only thing they have anyway

Sendo P200

I bet few people here had it/saw it

also: first at home: Alcatel One Touch Easy DB

I still have both of them

wild just take turns playing Tetris with my friend during lunch time.
