It is now 2010. What phone are you using?

I'm using a Galaxy Ace. My first smartphone/Android device.

It's comparable to the iPhone 4 but only a quarter of the price.

poo in loo suresh

I had an iPhone 3G at the time.

Home phone

samsung a707
got an og atrix the next year

It's 2017 and that's still the phone I'm using.

I'm using a RedMi 2 but only because I dropped my Galaxy S2 in a river about a year ago. Otherwise, I would still be using it.

>there will never be a more comfy smart phone

galaxy s7 edge

I have nothing against using a cheap smartphone, but you better make sure that shit runs a fairly recent version of Android. Otherwise you're gonna get fucked

A galaxy S4. I dunno I think about upgrading but I also want a removable battery or at least one that doesn't require a tool set. I find it trusty and want a suitable replacment that isn't as expensive as a s7 or pixel and yes I have thought about a s5.

Even at the time, this was a pretty crappy device, but being able to have a smartphone on a $25 prepaid plan seemed too good to pass up.

Whoops completely missed the it's 2010 part sorry for making a dumb post.

The Ace was a 2011 model if I'm not mistaken.

Back in 2010...
>have Nokia 1680c
>get an LG KP500 "cookie"
>my first touchscreen phone, resistive trash

My sister just got an S5. A fine device considering it's down to $200 or less.

I prefer old flagships over new midrangers

That's quite a shitty phone.

ZTE Blade

Even then (coming from Symbian) I thought Android was shit.

>2010
>no camera LED

It's like Samsung couldn't resist copying one of the worst parts of the 3GS

>256MB RAM
>800Mhz ARMv6 Qualcomm CPU
>300MB of internal storage for apps

It didn't help when they decided to release a shitier variant based on Broadcom chips which was nearly impossible to find decent roms for

But it was, user. Android started getting on it's feet on 4.0 and above.

>he's not using a Tizen smartphone
Pleb.

Literally a curry theme

i was using this piece of shit

were touchscreen phones that popular in US during 2010? I don't remember them being mainstream here at all, people often said my phone looked rad as fuck

even though some retards always said the gold version was gay, but they were idiots

Sidekicks and blackberries were still relevant back then, so I'd say "not yet"

At least you could get Whatsapp on it.

It just seems like some of the best older tech to grab.

Pretty sure I had an N95 8GB at that time.

ZTE ZMAX PRO

Actually I'm wrong; I had a Nokia C6-00.

What a piece of shit that was.

>be me
>live in 3rd world country
>2008
>blackberries catch steam
>telcos start offering specialized blackberry data plans
>they're ridiculously overpriced
>2009
>blackberries start becoming mainstream
>idiots pay up big time for their BBM cuz it exclusive xD
>2009-2011
>telcos on a roll
>they decide to go all out on blackberries
>massive marketing campaings
>tiered blackberry data plans everywhere
>still much more expensive than regular data plans
>2011
>The blackberry bubble bursts
>android catching up
>iphones are the new frat boy and sorority girl toys
>symbian lays on the floor dying

The BB hype lasted only 3 years. That's when I realized telcos have no idea where the mobile tech industry is headed.

some semi-smart phone by Samsung. either that or the LG chocolate

Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. My third smartphone.
It wasn't great, but that 800x480 resolution was amazing at the time coming from a 320x240 HTC TyTN.

iPhone 4 - 32gb black

LG VX8100

...

I had the blue one. Lovely phone tbqh.

iPhone 3G since its release

HTC HD mini IIRC

Nokia C5

Not horrible. It was my first smartphone.

Man, back in 2010 I was still using a Razr. I didn't get a smartphone until 2014.

Nexus One

...

I was using some dumbphone in 2010. If I went back now, I'd be using a BlackBerry Bold.

Had one, it was a beast in its time

i'm not using any phone because i don't have anybody to call

Who uses phones to call people anymore?

...

Nokia Xpressmusic 5530

everyone? This new smartphone trend is still not very popular

Even back then I rarely made calls. SMS has been a thing for years, user.

nokia 5610
fuck (((smart)))phones

>Orange San Francisco (rebrand of )
>Sub 200 dollar meme phone with non-shit display
>has froyo rom and support everywhere
>everyone else has dumbphones at school so feel superior
haha user why does it say San Francisco

3GS I still use it as an mp3 player

I don't have a phone because mom doesn't let me have one

Samsung S5230

that kinda implies i also don't have anyone to text

Well then you're a friendless loser

thanks

Alcatel 918d

Still on OnePlus One
will upgrade when I can afford to

Oh I didnt read the 2010 part
Im embarrassed

Still on my sony ericson.
Smart phones are not offering something I don't already have except a worse battery life.

Moto E 2015
I don't think this thing is going to die any time soon

>comparable to an iPhone 4
Lmao in your dreams

I seriously doubt you had a Moto E 2015 in 2010.

Is this don't read the thread?

HTC Desire

I always forget to read the subject field

>Comfy af

I would kill for a modern version of this with a 5inch screen and water proofing.

i had a Samsung Onyx
worst phone, would not recommend

Alcatel v860

>Using Android
Bada OS masterrace

Nokia N95 8gb or N900

I had one of these. Replace an original iPhone that I'd had for a few years. Was a great phone for the money but build quality and audio output left a lot to be desired.

I had a nokia 2330 shit was comfy

Some motorola with Nextel.

This small brick. It was my first smartphone. I remember it was full of crapware and being slow as hell. I eventually put cyanogenmod on it which was neat as it was faster and you could hide all the crap that came installed on the phone which you couldn't delete. Turned out screen was just too small for a smartphone but other than that it was ok.

Nokia N900

>Scan thread
>No HTC HD2

Seriously? That thing is the Sup Forums phone. Only got better with time.

Still feels amazingly good in the hand. The tiny internal storage made it ultimately unusable because fuck linking an SD card.

Same

I have a $20 flip phone.
I still do.
Galaxy S4. I like being on a month to month plan and having my phone paid off

You can do that with any phone, although the S4 wasn't a thing in 2010

Samsung C3050

N900

Just got my first cellphone! Samsung something or other. It slides vertically to reveal a numeric keypad.

I'm not using anything. In 2012 I got an LG flip phone, though. Nobody I knew even used smartphones in 2010.

>Not using a oneplus 3t
Kek either dumb pleb or ipleb

>can't read
>calls other dumb
kek

>Other being singular
Kek ipleb go to school

ace q or q, probably. I had an ace q for a while, it was wonderful.

This one, I think. Nokia 5730 XpressMusic. The keyboard was really nice, the OS not so much. I didn't even have a data plan back then so it was way too fancy for my needs anyway, only thing I ever did on that thing was type a few text messages.

A BlackBerry.

iPhone 5, literally a 5 year old phone that's still fast af and getting the latest updates.

>typos don't happen

iPhone 5 literally didn't exist in 2010

>iPhone 5 literally didn't exist in 2010
Oh yeah sorry, I forgot we're still in 2015

Read the OP, dumbass
>It is now 2010

This huge piece of shit. It was slow as fuck. I actually wound up switching back to my old treo 800w at some point during the year.
