No seriously, there's no real incentive with 10, looks better and can be tampered with better. And it still has more support than 7. And I have experienced that, after a clean install of W8.1 Update 1 is probably the most stable experience I had with a Windows system as long as I don't update.

it's not like it's hard. both nginx and apache httpd have well structured configs.

The N means the media features and Cortana are not installed by default. You still have botnet. It can't be stopped even on Enterprise.

You have to block at the router lvl
even then, m$ has an entire /8 block so you're kind of wasting time. there isn't any reason they couldn't just push some "generic update for something" that uses static IPs from said /8 block.
