But you can always look at the "sample" book and decide it for yourself.
In my opinion, I think Deitel books are kinda bloated, and most programming languages are relatively simple. The only strong point of Deitel books are the exercises, that are almost identical of every Deitel book I read.
If you want to learn C and some other useful concepts there is the "A book on C" by Pohl/Kelley.
But if you just want to learn C, then K&R is your friend.
I hope this helps you OP, and I would like to ask you to refrain from creating an A vs B threads in the future.
