RYZEN IS SHIT

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

And 7700K overclock is pointless

This thread is original, don't search for the image in the rebeccablack interwebs.

We already talked about this shit.
This comparison shit shit.
Wait for March 3 to get BTFO into oblivion, shills

kek intlel is done

max and min values are subject to uncertainty
look at the average

I'd argue that although max is a throw away stat, min is pretty important as it can be the difference between actual stuttering and low frame rates

Yeah min matters a lot

If the frame rate gets too low for even a second, it can ruin the experience

>4 high speed cores
vs
>8 cores clocked lower and slightly less powerful for thermal and power reasons

shit thread, shit comparison, and I've seen this autism for the foruth time today

It's literally a real world gaming test

Try to spin it all you want, this is reality

it's a real world gaming test yes
but shills seem to forget that less cores = better gaming , usually.

People see the ryzen as superior because of the price/performance

>a cpu that costs $100 less performs around the same on average

okay

It's as good and more stable
Intel is finished

i7-7700k is the same price as a Ryzen 1700

Ryzen is very bad for gaming

>very bad for gaming
did you even see the demos from the reveal
they all have games that react well to cores but the 7700k for example gets raped by ryzen in streaming a fucking moba
>A FUCKING MOBA

DELET

I don't think GTA is a good example.

GTA is actually a good CPU test

We will see though once more benchmarks come out

Looks like Ryzen is going to be a bad gaming CPU

there will be a r5 and r3 retard

And they will be just as bad?

if you're shilling, just admit it.
You bought memelake, didn't you?

HOLY SHIT THAT MIN FPS HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

Please explain how r5 and r3 are going to be better than this

It looks to me like AMD is doing exactly what they've done in the past. Poor performance in everything except heavily threaded applications.

I'm not a gaymer. I just tired of this shit everyday, I don't give a shit what is better or worse. I;ll by what is good for me.

Less cores -> better overclock

>$300 vs $1000 cpu
>difference in average is only 4 fps
>not calculating variance
>implying you are able to see more than 120fps on your display

R7 1700 is not a gaming CPU - it's a low-end workstation CPU that just so happens to be fairly good at gaming.

An R7 1800X is outright better than my i7 5960X for half the price. A similar thing will happen in the lower R#-series processor lines for 6/4-core equivalents.

Never forget that fewer cores == higher clock. The fact that AMD's worst 8-core can actually come within the ballpark of Intel's best 4-core is amazing.

Uhh i7-7700K is the same price as Ryzen 1700

OP is autistic. Compare Ryzen 1800X to 7700k

1800X costs more than $150 more than an i7-7700K

The best comparison is the one done in the OP, they are almost exactly the same price

Dollar for dollar, Intel's current offerings are killing Ryzen

>killing
I think you mean "slightly ahead of". And we're talking specifically about running one game and no other applications; the 7700K would take a dump trying to stream GTA5 but the 1700 would not feel it.

>Dollar for dollar, Intel's current offerings are killing Ryzen
it must be hard being a giant faggot who literally lies to himself and ignores objective facts so he can support a certain company instead of another one

I'd say that's the only thing Ryzen is good for, video encoding

Gaming, desktop usage, pretty much anything else you're better off with Intel

3ghz vs 5ghz
8 cores vs 4 cores

that ryzen is fucking amazing.

>>not calculating variance
This shit really gets to me. The min and max values are fucking worthless

...

>less frame rate variation
>4 average frames less
>Shit

InigoMontoya.jpg

this pretty much

Get a Haswell-E to 5GHz without liquid nitrogen. You can't. But you can get a normal Haswell to 5GHz with just water.

Looks like Ryzen is a winner for video editing

I can't see any other reason to buy it though, Intel seems better at everything else.
