Europe has always been bad with AMD prices, I'm guessing Intel has enough investment in the EU for lower importing fees
>4 core vs 8 core
seems to me AMD actually is.
Prices are as intended.
In terms of US prices the 7700K ($340) sits between the 1700 ($330) and the 1700x ($400)
Look where the AMD plant manufacturing the chips is and look where the Intel one is. If the intel one is closer to you then that explains it.
>just making up random shit
Just who exactly said that it Ryzen was going to be much cheaper ?
Its a $10 difference in terms of MSRP of the two cpus
and a $10 eurobux difference where OP lives.
wow its fucking nothing.
What's the closest Intel equivalent to the R7 1700?
>Plus z or x motherboard that goes for >170 euros
Still a lot cheaper, but buy what ever you want.
>being a mongol binlander
You deserve it
7700K
AM4 boards seem to cost a bit too
btw what's the difference between B350 and X370?
>B350
I don't know how much this will impact you, but the B350 do not support SLI, only crossfire.
Only the X370 support both crossfire and SLI.
hinta.fi is better
X370 have better overcloking I heard, but don't buy yet prices will drop if you wait.
6900k
an intel 14nm fab is located in the EU, avoiding import fees
there is no 14nm fab for ryzen in the EU
It is? Where?
I thought everything was made in China or elsewhere in the far east
>implying
The price of shipping, especially in bulk is completely negligible nowadays, the only thing that might matter is tax. Also everything comes from china anyway.
Ireland
Ryzen is fabbed in the US and South Korea
>just making up random shit
>Just who exactly said that it Ryzen was going to be much cheaper ?
AMD and Every fucking Sup Forumsentooman
cheaper than the 6900k, you absolute fucking mongoloid. that one costs over 1100 euros
But is it actually a match for that?
Whatever their weakest broadwell e 8 core is
The 1700 is not equivalent to the 7700K but the 6900K, which costs $1109 - roughly 3 times the price of the AMD. What you should be looking at is the 1300 Pro which costs $119 - roughly 1/3 the price of the Intel. 3 times less seems like much cheaper to me.
If you oc it yea. The 1700x compares with it out of the box though
Well I'm pretty much sold
I want it in mini-ITX though
Only matx mobos right now
Hopefully mini itx will show up on official release or later on
There's definitely a market in it no reason it wouldn't exist
>Put together an upgrade from my 2500k
>Mobo, CPU, ram and m.2 SSD
>$1500
Fugg, should I do an upgrade or get a motorbike?
jesus, can we get a separate computer hardware board?
I'm so goddamn sick of Ryzen.
>389 euro
what
komputronik.pl
it's 368 euro in poland
i3 7100T
>Just who exactly said that it Ryzen was going to be much cheaper
oh wow it's the rx480 all over again
>baww why won't people only discuss my topics of interest I hate this subreddit
Source? Intel have close to a dozen 14nm fabs and I can't find any source saying which does what. The only thing I can find on the Leixlip facility is that they worked on the massive failure that was the edison.
I still can't understand that jimm's sold i7-3770k for 329€ back in 2014 and then suddenly they raised the price on that to 399€ or more during 2015
wtf
>buying from jew jimmms
>ever
Just import from Germany like every one else, that's what EU is meant for you damn retard
How can a certain company have lower import tax than another company? This doesn't seem fair.
>Be Canuck
>Waiting for price drops on CPUs
>Still waiting
>Hey guys that CPU is now obselete as fuck how about you drop the price
>...
>Fuck this I'm moving to Burgerstan
this.
the 1800x is supposed to be compared to Intel's 6 and 8 core models. the i7 7700/k only has 4 cores.
Why do you need to move to burgerstan? Don't 90% of Canadians live within 1 hour drive of the border? Just pop over and stock up on that cheap shit
I imagine you're like this kallu guy.
Åk hit så får du se hur dåligt ställt vi har det ang. elektronikpriser, Pekka.
Dumb
Could you recommend some sources? I've mostly looked at ebay.de and the prices tend to be the same as here
It's actually easier and cheaper for me to visit Estonia
rx480 lies and failures all over again
rx 480 is fine thought not againts the 1070 but still a good budget card
Osta from Mindfactory.de
No problems ever and usually lower prices then jimms, 20 € shipping so dont buy single items unless olet spurdo.
If buying case check hard for price difference, jimms has usually pretty good prices on cases.
Dont forgot hardwarium and other finn PCHW stores. Verkokauppa is overpriced and narrow selection.
This.
Or just use hinta.fi for price comparisons like any järkevä ihminen.

Also where the hell is the cute X370 mITX boards god damn?
Gotta pay for those refugees
>rx480 is a budget card!
>$400 in canada
fuck Trudeau
>Also where the hell is the cute X370 mITX boards god damn?
afaik there should be loads of them, but they're still in development. Though Biostar announced a x370 mITX board not too long ago but then again it's a biostar board...
Well my problem is that I haven't made any inside of EU online purchases
Can you give a quick rundown, where the actual price comes from? Or is it just easy and carefree to just hit order and have little to none concerns over Customs fucking you in the ass because you bought a item which was more than 150€?
There are no customs inside the EU, that's the whole point.
That's why you don't buy expensive shit from the US or far east.
If your country is a member of the EU then you have no problems ordering for whatever amount. I have ordered stuff worth about 500 € from Germany. Also your deal is protected with EU laws if anything goes wrong. After all, EU is just one big country.
Okay, I think I got it. Thanks anons.
I have been ordering stuff from China so that is why I have got a bit confused.
you have 5000 euros salaries so what, you won't even notice if it was for 350e or 300e
what are some cheaper germanic online electronics stores
You better hurry, that northern wall's going to happen
We also have this thing called taxes and cost of living.
OP is probably some retarded hillbilly truck driver who votes for PotatoSuomalaiset
But that is where you are wrong
The average salary per year in Binland is about 30k-33k€ which is about 2.5k-3.0k€. Heck even South-Koreans earn more than us. Damn Samsung niggers
Thank you for paying my education so i may earn 6k/month
>retarded
I don't think so
>hillbilly
Somewhat yes
>truck driver
Yes
>who votes for PotatoSuomalaiset
Yes :D
Very good, user :D
I'm also Finnish and I've gone ahead and checked online stores all over europe and the lowest I've found is 360 euros, but that store (mindactory.de) only does international shipping trough 20 euro courier shipping. Motherboards actually cost about the same as they do elsewhere so you don't save much on buying them abroad. Looked at a bunch of other stores from Sweden (from where you get cheap shipping to Finland but prices are the same or worse), the U.K (they've sadly raised prices so you can't take advantage of the pound being in the dumps), Germany (where the shipping cost kills the savings) and the Netherlands (which combines expensive prices with expensive shipping).

confirm this, shiping from germany kills the price advantage so everyone buys at local stores
I am still waiting for price drop on Baby Lake.
Motorbike. No question.
Suomen Verot.
Is there still a reason to buy a Ryzen 1700 as a Canadian?
I truly want a Ryzen but these prices from trudau has fucked me. Should I just buy the i7?
Samsung Evo 850 500gb
>jimms

Neat, I'll need to have a look at this
>letting the chinese have the fabs
WHY??!?
It would save almost zero money
Why shit so expensive in canuckistan?
Because we have a liberal federal government now.
