Obviouslt not when you are the subjects of the same Queen.

nope
and seriously fuck spain, wish we had being conquered by Britain so we could have a king n sheit

It depends, some countries have good relations (Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Mexico) and these if they are similar.

But the others are obsessed with the Inca empire (Bolivia, Peru) or the USSR (Venezuela Cuba) and hate us because they think we remove them their paradise.

Not just politically I mean diplomatically and people to people links.

>close relationship that Britain and Australia/NZ do?

Kek, what close relationship?

In this case, this is the answer:

Hello Zhang/Pajeet/Tirumnabgi/Zoe from Melbourne who believes white people and the British empire were racist

I don't think so. The relationship is pretty good though (except with countries like Venezuela), and there are a lot of initiatives in order to favour international relationships, especially in terms of commerce and the like.

Also, what this guy () said. There's a lot of casual racism in Spain, but overall I think we, unless they're "muh heritage"/"muh stolen gold"/"muh raped ancestors" that the younger gens of immigrants can be, like them.

I don't know how they view us, I guess it's a mix of indifference, love and hate.

That doesn't make much sense, my Paraguayan friend.

I see. What about France and it's African nations/Indochina?

Any "close relationship" we had with the UK ended some time in the 70s

Yes, But it's autism. Mexico has many indigenous and the general opinion of them is good in Spain and its equal share, but Venezuela that has less hate us more.

I want a Mexican girlfriend.

absolutely mutual hatreds.

spen is of nt to their liking

Objectively incorrect.

At least for the countries that aren't too Indian, their relationship is fairly similar to Britain and the rest of the Anglosphere. A lot of shared culture exists between LatAm countries and Spain as well as history.

>19th century civil wars between pro-Church monarchists and secular republicans
>caudillos
>20th century fascist period

Since 1976 though, there's been more of a divergence as Spain attained First World democracy status while LatAm countries continue to struggle with unstable political and economic setups.

I would have thought Spain-Venezuela relations would be decent seeing as Spain isn't completely in the "Western Alliance" if you know what I mean (Like USA, UK, Australia, Poland, France maybe).

Believe me, these people believe descended from the Incas and believe things like that Zeus is a inca god or the URSS are the best country in the world until Spain came over him.

Abos = American Indians.

I'd tell you to go to Hispachan, but do not you speak my language. The only decent Americans Indian are Mexicans and not all.

Who said we are not? We have distanced ourselves from those endeavours since the socialists got to power, but before that..

This was the trio of death for a while.

Not so, Argentina was against NATO many times (MALVINAS ARGENTINASSSSS) and relations with us were always good, Uruguay also has good relations and has a socialist president to Venezuela style.

>I'd tell you to go to Hispachan, but do not you speak my language. The only decent Americans Indian are Mexicans and not all

That's mostly because they're next to the US and we were sure as hell never letting commies take the place over. During the 60s-70s, the Mexican army used to round up commie students and they'd disappear without a trace.

>Abos = American Indians.

This, the indians are subhuman.

Ah, no good. That's a shame, if only there was more settlement from Spain to Latin America, perhaps they would be more developed.

There you go, I didn't realise that.

Thanks USA. You made Mexico a better place.

From hispachan: "As I said Hispanic has nothing. The symbol of the phalanx is purely Peruvian."

Mexico actually did have a kind of socialist system for much of the 20th century (they took in various exiled leftist intellectuals like Trotsky and Arthur Miller), though it was more like Sweden's, which was also a very anti-commie/anti-Moscow country during the Cold War and never had any significant communist movement.

I think it was good for Mexico, but it is time to let them calm.

el peruANO strikes again.

The Argentine military government was backed by Washington and actually thought we would support them over the UK in 1982. Also all of LatAm except Chile sided with them in the Falklands dispute.

In any case, Spain and Argentina have always been very close except for the issues of independence. Both countries hate the Anglo

somebody said argentina

The idea that LatAm countries aren't Western or culturally connected to Europe is mostly a notion perpetrated by commies who painted them as spirit brothers united with Asians and Africans against imperialism. In truth, most of them aside from the Indian-dominated Andean countries are culturally close to Southern Europe.

Oh, no! the picardia.

>Both countries hate the Anglo
The Armada was 425 years ago. It's time to let it go.

NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR

Kinda rude desu

The Spanish Armada is still around.

>But the others are obsessed with the Inca empire (Bolivia, Peru) or the USSR (Venezuela Cuba) and hate us because they think we remove them their paradise

Bolivia under Evo is kind of both of these things. In a way almost too bad because until he happened, they were a pretty dependable US ally and had assisted us in hunting down Che Guevara.

In Bolivia's case, fair enough. They're mostly Indian and have far less cultural commonality with Western countries. Cuba though...come on. Nearly everyone there is of pure blooded European descent except niggers descended from slaves. Anything in Cuba that was Indian had ceased to exist within 100 years of the Spanish conquests.

>hurp we so anti-West down with imperialism
>wait, we're all white Europeans

Diplomatically pretty good, except with Venezuela, our relations with Cuba arent even that bad. For example we helped Colombia to get VISA free access to Europe and trade deals recently.
