Ok what's the closest mouse that comes close to this form factor with a recent sensor? I know some of you fingertip grippers must have settled for something

Logitech is STILL not releasing a successor to this and mine's is dying

There is literally nothing. I just bought a newer one off ebay and hope it lasts at least half as long as my dearly departed 1st gen. When this one dies, I'll do the same unless Logitech pulls their head out of their ass makes a successor.

Don't fall for the Corsair m65 pro meme. They feel nothing alike.

Also, the G9/X's dry grip is unmatched so far. It's some sort of mottled rubber and I've yet to see anything that's the same on another mouse.

ROG Spatha.

mine lost the wheel clickiness after 1 year of use. had to ditch it.

still using my g9x. sad they dont make them anymore

Fucking knew it

Fell for the g403 meme and went back to my g9x

Now I'm considering the 303 and g pro

Who the fuck even uses palm grip fucking logitech

Try mx Master, but it's wireless

The 602 or whatever from Logitech works decent for my claw like grip

Are there any cheap mice with a good sensor, like the PMW3366, and software?

Can't be too hard to design and 3D print a G9X like shell for one.

>tfw I used mine so much that I wore the teflon off the bottom.

This. There is literally nothing perfect.

I just replaced my pair of g9x's after they died after 10 years of using that same model.

I settled on the g303. It has worked for me so far. It's the best analogue after trying several and weeks of research. Don't bother with the g502 it's got a different profile.

Only downsides for me at the moment is the lack of the tilt wheel. God godamn I miss the tilt wheel.

Still available for $240.

...

Mine is falling apart as well.

But yeah, I was REALLY looking forward to the successor as they fixed a lot of the sensor issues (which were pretty minor to begin with) from the G9x/G5 era with the G500 and up stuff.

I figured, like I'm sure all of you did, that a G9x successor would be a shoe-in as they followed suit in the past.

The wheel is the only thing left that keeps me with Logitech, even with my work computers where I need portability.

Disgusting.

well harambe does so take a shot for harambe

because fuck me dead, he took one for you

also I'm monitoring this thread *lizard head*

If I didn't still have mine/have access to a electronics repair shop, I'd buy it.

A lot of people liked the G9X for the thinner matte/sandy grip, not the larger rubberized one.

>Alienware

Still using mine. Even got replacement pads.

Cleaned it out a few times as dust balls can fuck shit up.

Still my only gripe is the damn wheel.

>Still my only gripe is the damn wheel.
You don't like it or it's broken?

Don't like it.

Never did.

It's too hard to click, so you might accidentally move it up or down when you click it.

Oh, IIRC there is a mod for that.
It's held back by a leaf style spring, which can be weakened or changed.
