Nah, I've got a convertible and a tablet. They serve diffrent purposes.

I guess it depends on the OS of the convertible, but I see no reason to buy an Android tablet over a ChromeOS convertible like the c302 now that ChromeOS has Android apps.

i use mine as a portable media consumption machine and apps. maybe jot down ideas here and there. i watch Netflix on them, read, and internet. i travel a lot so they're really handy for that and are better than smart phones for reading.

btw, question. what are the best affordable tablets out there? amazon fire seems to be the best bang for buck.
