I've made some stuff and given some foods to my coworkers. Most of the sweets I've given them (pudding, muffins, fudge, etc.) have gone over well. One that universally did not go over well is root beer. Everyone hated it. It was actually pretty funny.

What? Maybe where you live. Here there are lots of days when the kids are in school and there's no school lunch. The students bring their bentos and eat in the classroom the same way they eat school lunch.

It's worth checking out if you ever collect enough coins in the penny pot and decide to splurge on a good PC. Skyrim and New Vegas in particular have some pretty good quest-related mods on the nexus.
I still had lots of fun with both of those games on the Xbox 360 though.
