Will Rust replace C? How much longer for university courses to phase teaching C out?

Never

C will replace C. Rust is dead.

Who the fuck is LT?

linus torvalds

As soon as he and a couple of other guys sharing the same age are six feet under the remainders will say LOL FUGG this shit and push all kinds of languages into the kernel.

Then it will be forked by people who actually want the kernel to work.

Cobol.

>Then it will be forked by people who actually want to fullfill their autism, the remaining devs will be the major, company backed part.
FTFY
It will be similar to the static compiled kernel fork.

If you never got the opportunity to build lego vehicles and program them, then you missed out.

You, You're a History in Rust

Pascal_Case_With_Underscores just looks unprofessional to me, especially when used in a language with all-lowercase keywords.

>JavaScript, as soon as WebASM supports direct DOM access and gc

Yeah, have fun building websites in C.

ALGOL 60

c# users' language

>SML
Fucking loved this language

C is used very often by engineers.
Do you live under a rock or something?

How is a coding language created? Is it coded with another language? If so, how was the first computer language created?

But I still use it from time to time especially when I have nothing important to say.

Should I be happy that it's not Java or should I JUST?

Machine code isn't some unopenable alien created black magic box, you know. First compilers were written in machine code. Nowadays prog languages are used but at least some of the resulting machine code is still checked for stuff like debugging or optimization.

>implying peel will ever die

You know you must be 18 or older to use this website right?

Has COBOL been completely phased out? That syntax looked awful.
