ITT: a new Slav state pops up and you have to design its flag.
Rules: it has to be pretty clearly Slav on the first sight. Meaning focus should be on pan Slavic colors, and tricolor design... which leaves 6 flags, and there's more than 6 Slav states, so a tiny bit of improvisation is allowed.
You can also make a generic Slav state name. Go.

I will look into some Slavic pagan runes, but I am a bit conflicted here, I dont know what's more important:
Byzantine heritage, Orthodox saints/symbolism, or Slavic pagan stuff. All these things kinda conflict with one another: Byzantine and Orthodoxy things are good, but focusing too much on those wouldnt be 100% Slavic, and they both had huge influence so going 100% paganism also doesnt feel right.

Yeah, Slavs marched under banner of Christ and the saints for a very long time.
And yet, Christianity is much more a middle eastern thing..... I mean sure, its a huge part of all Slavic nations, but if I went full Byzant/Christian it wouldnt feel Slav, you could have various other peoples (like Greeks) using those symbols, and people wouldnt know that it's a Slav thing.

Well it's mostly in the songs. I mean Slavic songs are unmistakeable, when you hear a Slav song you know its something distinct.
Slavic languages are also pretty much distinct, meaning no non-Slavs sound like it.
Also, generally speaking, to me at least, Slavs tend to look slightly prettier than other peoples, but I guess that's subjective.

IDK DESU senpai desu. I was inspired by Croatia's red checkers. I always thought they looked cool, so I wanted to do something similar to that design. I suppose it could represent rivers, fertile landscape. Irrigation canals, maybe.
Well, not religiously, but the rest I mentioned (songs, folklore, language, that certain look Slavs have) all predate Christianity so I just consider them "Slavic".
