Something I'll admit to
Nothing will ever be comfy as chatting up people on MSN in 2004

That taskbar.
Truth. I threw xp on a vm the other day, fullscreen noborder on my other monitor, and it was /comfy/ as baby dicks.
Something I won't admit to.
Spending three days compiling dev applications on gnu+linux to generate scenery for an open source game, and 3 days creating it, only to have everyone wonder where I got the exe's for the latest versions.
They were all using windows xp.
what
flightgear. (ok it's a sim not a game)
I feel you syrup.
During summer it turned out a non compliant irc server was causing compilation warnings on xp but eventually we bypassed it when angular 2 came out.
That looks about as comfy as skin cancer.
>stock crap wall
>comfy
where did this meme arrive from
At least put the desert with a moon wallpaper lmao
u wot m8
When will this meme die. XP is one of the least comfy OS. Mac OS, Nextstep, BeOS, even 2000 are better
I downloaded MSN Messenger the other day thinking it would be super cool to log in and see everyone's nicknames and stuff and it would be one hell of a nostalgia trip
Obviously there was nothing to log in to because that shit has been dead for years, but I still tried
To be honest, explorer was crap compared my current wm.
There were attempts tried to get a unofficial server online.
But, sadly that didn't take off really. I wish I could get Pidgin to look as comfy as the early MSN versions.
Minivans and starbucks are comfy too.
>No "lock taskbar".
You fucking scrub.
Life was infinitely better before moot created this fucking cancerous site
>riced window manager
>fancy
nah, you can be decorated, but you can't be fancy when you're just a window manager.
This isn't a fair comparison when comparing window managers to desktop environments is like comparing apples and oranges.
Now a Linux desktop environment can look exactly like that. Pic related.
...
Windows XP always looked horrible and I don't miss it at all. Windows 7 is so much more pleasant.
Luna and Aero both look like ass. Windows Classic or go home
