Why are all PC cases dogshit with fucking side windows?

Why are all PC cases dogshit with fucking side windows?

Isn't there any that is well built, like a Phanteks, but doesn't have shitty side window panels and lgbt lights?

A thread died for this

>PC cases
>well built
Unless you got a time machine no.

I dunno I have a Phanteks Enthoo mATX case and it's breddy nice, despite the ugly ass gay faggotty side window. It does come apart easily.

I wish it was built like the Mac Pro....(non trash can)

>lgbt lights
No idea why I think that's so Goddamn funny

I dont see the problem user.

Just dont use the lights?

Define and Arc series from Fractal Design certainly seems to fit

Try Lian-Li, they make bland aluminium boxes for a premium, but I like them.

Of course they also make tempered glass cases for people who want those too.

Heck due to a bunch of poorfags saying aluminium cases cost too much they now make K series SECC body cases for the poorfags.

Just because you can't build a pc that looks nice on the inside doesn't me the rest of us shouldn't be allowed to.

>not machining your own to sub thou precision using 254 steel
>including the screws

Clearly everyone should get what they want. Including you and OP
The market has already seen to that. OP is just lazy and you're an idiot.

>Gaymurz like it therefore I hate it
will you die already grandpa?

Fractal Design cases are clean as fuck and focused on noise dampening over having flashy lights and lots of fans

how are they when it comes to air flow and keeping the insides cool? I have a cheap ass Zalman case and the airflow is shit even though i tried the negative airflow meme yet the results are negligible.

>he still hasn't built his own PC case in wood

sidewards intakes (at the front panel) apparently work just as well as having a grilled front panel.
i doubt that though.

I'm planning to build mine during summer.

This might blow your mind, OP, but Phanteks cases can be purchased windowless.

Just choose the windowless option on Amazon.

Most decent cases can be purchased without a window.

I have a windowless Mastercase 5. Pretty nice case. Might buy some sound dampening material to install myself on the side panels.

Does sound dampening work well in these cases, or is it a meme?

I second this.

I'm actually about to make an iTX build using the Nano S - comes standard with sound dampening.

>not putting your hardware on the table making it run cooler

>Unless you got a time machine no.

this.
I'm still on the Antec p183 because of this. Tried switching to Fractal Define twice, regretted and went back to the old case both times.

I ended up converting the little component storage box inside to an SSD holder (only needed to cut out a small part for the connectors).

How does the air flow get in from the front when the door is closed like that?

Those side vents on the front panel pull fresh air in through front mounted fans.

There are literally hundreds of cases with and without the features you described.

Most shopping sites have filters that let you filter those features out right away.

The more important question is, why are you so mad?

>not using a old plastic dog house as your case

Enjoy your snake oil

It's good but not great.
But with all the noise reduction you can always crank the fans up further without it being annoying.

I got this case. It's niiiceeeee.

Quiet, discrete, yet tons and tons of features.

So glad I changed to this from my HAF912.

It was like a rite of passage from boyhood to manhood.
