cheap chink shit that will no doubt fall apart

I wouldn't spend more then $50 on any Chinese tech

I've read around they have terrible battery life
Other than that, they seem to be a great option. But battery life is too important.

My friend has one. Looks and feels pretty cool desu. I'd rock fedora on it if it was mine.

I'd rather get an XPS.

Chinese Windows and Bios nice try, Wang

That could very well describe any device that is currently being made. Except for cheap part.

Gearbest choice of the month for PC category.

You'd have to pay me to use a chinky laptop.

Not even sold in the 1st world, so fuck that.
If I spend more than $100 I expect to at least have warranty.

If you buy a Xiaomi device you deserve to get fucked in the ass by them. They have known backdoors in their hardware.

> Implying ThinkPad are bad because they are chicky.

So what is your laptop of choice user, is it a HP or a Dell?

Xiaomi are good but it's still too risky.

I can guarantee you are using chinky laptop right now. And you paid for it.

>Core U processor
>GeForce 940MX
>no Thunderbolt for docking

I bought the 13.3" version a couple of months ago, it's served me well so far

Pretty much this. Right down to the Fedora part. Shit is cheap and looks good.

not him but I'd recommend toshiba satellite/dynabook or dell latitude

my recommendation is not meant for vidya

Nothing wrong with U processors in a laptop
But he said M series and the Kaby lake M series (which are now called "core i5's and i7's because of dumbasses like OP) which is literally worse than a tablet

Thinking about buying one when my MBA dies.
