What do you keep your notes in, user?

You do have notes, right?

"Notes" app

On "New Text Document.txt". I love One Note though. And regular notebooks.

I have a bunch of paper notebooks, it really helps when memorizing unfamiliar concepts, even if I never look over the notes again, I just need the action of writing them down to commit them properly.

Also, if I didn't do this, my handwriting would deteriorate.

Plain copy paper, every year i buy 1k sheets and cut them in half.

I buy a few cheapo college ruled notebooks every few months or however long it takes to fill them up. Most of the time I use them to practice writing/memorising foreign languages and symbols or doing out equations.

millennials are completely useless without their gadgets
as soon as the battery runs out, they squirm because they're so used to being constantly stimulated because they have less attention span than a gnat.

fast notepad for android and just plain .TXT files in wangblows

Evernote. I'd like to switch to an encrypted alternative but nothing comes close to the convenience of Evernote.

Quick disposable notes go in Keep

Le botnet supreme

one note

My notes lie within my code.

Numbers for representing objects, formulas, and buzzwords..you know basic stuff..

google keep

hate if you want, its essentially like being able to quickly text yourself an idea with folders and labels, plus pictures and whatnot.

Anyone know a good one that keeps note files intact?
I used to use dokuwiki but setting up a local server for notes seems dumb. I used to like tiddlywiki but it stores everything in a giant html/js file.

>the people in this thread who use proprietary botnet

I keep my notes in a real notebook. Pen and paper.

How old is that pic? Honestly can't tell

it's probably 2002-2006

Reddit, the notebook

Is that the overpriced hipster notebook?

what are these even for?
do you really need a $10 notebook to scribble down your mundanities like shopping lists?

because hitting precisely a 4x5mm space 10 times a second is too easy...

Just look at all these practical applications. How can you afford not own one?

You can tell a redditor wrote this.

markdown files on my nextcloud instance, mostly for commands i will reuse in the future. got a galaxy phone, and the notes app is great but stays on my phone so not as useful as could be.

Google Keep right now (yes I know they'll keep it forever and pass it around the spy agencies, idgaf)

Always seems a bit uncomfy though. Might try OneNote.

On computer NOTES.txt through git.
Otherwise an A5 moleskine (memey, I know) and an A6 blanklined noname notebook. I also have an A4sketchbook for drawing.

I use Evernote for some heavy notes, Keep for quick notes, and Wunderlist for TODO lists.
I plan on paying for evernote plus, which is 1$/month in my country, or 2$ for premium.

Can you cat to a block device? I think it only works with dd.
