I'm not seeing the issue here. When little is being uploaded, the goal of archiving has been achieved. So when you can't upload anything new, you use the beginning buffer to get what you want, others download that too, you get credit to download more things. That's the ideal, right? Because I don't see anything wrong about that system. If there's too many people on a torrent and you're not getting any upload, that's where staff should start doing freeleech tokens and stuff like that. To let people download, but still keep them seeding.

This. People just want buffer to be "set4life" even though they will not download anything. With current free 5Gb starting buffer and FL tokens people can DOWNLOAD shitload MUSIC TO LISTEN. WHAT had a lot of users with hundreds gigabytes of buffer which never got used in the end when site closed. If you want MOAR BUFFER then get to uploading. Ive not seen a single user which actually uploads stuff with less than 30 Gb UP.
