nice meme

i've tried webkit nightly. it is crap.

Tor browser.

currently chromium is the most standards compliant and speedy

this

Depends on what you want:
>Speed & functionality
Chrome
>Customization
Firefox
>Battery life
Edge

Ultimately, though, the difference between browsers is extremely marginal.

Enjoy your botnet.

I like SeaMonkey
>clean, functional aesthetic
>fast and secure
>complies with more standards than Pale Moon
>email client is handy

I used to use Firefox, but it just hangs for no reason on so many sites now. And I'm not going anywhere near Chrome.

just use chromium?

What about Qupzilla?

No.
I am doing fine with my current set of browsers.
And I hate the Chrom* GUI.

Using developer / nightly versions of browsers is placebo

Still mostly botnet

There's a de-botnet Chromium on the AUR, though.

(Chr)Opera.

It's the only browser that managed to do scaling properly on Linux (at least in my experience).

>the unstable beta version of a browser is better than the normal browser
why?

simply nightly.

What is "botnet" about Chromium?

this ^

More up to date, more secure.

QWebKit
>proprietary with proprietaryhooks
Go away, Sup Forums. You don't know how to use a computer.

...

show me a changelog of the beta build where there was a security patch that's not yet in the main version.

The botnet portions, like where they call to google to ask what botnet blobs to install.

Ability to remotely change source without user permission.

faggot detected

There's a reason the rest of the site thinks you're retarded. Get back to your containment board until you can FizzBuzz.

...

Vivaldi for main.
Edge for backup.

>Vivaldi
>closed source

When will this meme die?

>vivaldi
>nothing special

I contradict to say the least

>What is the objectively best browser?
Ungoogled-chromium, Iridium browser, Inox browser.

There's no exact one best browser. The best one is the one which satisfies all your needs.

Chrome, unfortunately.

>Opera
>Chink botnet
>god tier

Hypocrisy

Good goy.. er I mean boy
Continue giving your support to our superior browser!
Firefox is shit, SHIT
Chrome, Chromium, Chrome canary, Chromex, Chromif, Chromederp etc are the only sane option!

I'm gonna give Firefox Nightly a try. I've been on a new browser binge lately. Icecat is nice, so is Palemoon too.

ungoogled-chromium is literally the only browser you should ever use

you can install chromium, log in to your google account and sync bookmarks/credentials whatever then apply the ungoogled patch and enjoy the credentials/bookmarks still there but none of the google shit or botnet

Firefox is only hated on here because of Sup Forumstards leaving their containement board.

Edge is the next best thing.

well, seamonkey of course, what a silly question

What's the reason for using nightly? I'm gonna try it.

You get newer firefox features months before the stable release. Other than that it's nothing special. It actually scores lower than firefox on benchmarks.

>Firefox running perfectly fine
>close out of it
>updates without my consent
>fonts no longer work and I can't get them to work

> What is privacy.

>using windows
>complaining about unexpected/inopportune updates

Disable skia (v52 its enabled)

Were is fucking Tor/Onion?

Personal Opinion:
Opera Classic > Opera > Firefox > Edge > Chrome > Safari

outdated pic party related

Not a browser dumbass

>What is autism

Oh no, Google can target advertising (that I don't see because adblock) toward me. Oh woe is me! My precious privacy is violated reeeeeeeeeeee make me some tendies mommy, the Google Jew is looking at my anime girl picture collection!

>fucking subhuman trash talking about browsers botnet like it matters
>CPU has hardware level data collecting
>every browser collects everything
>every website collects everything you did there and where you went from there
>every service like email collects everything you did with it
>your cellphone collects and listens to everything you do
>your ISP stores everything you do

I guess you use windows 10 too for your fireshit uh

Shut up.

take your pills you schizo

>S s shut up!

well nothing he said is incorrect

What is even slightly schizophrenic about that post you turbo autist?

>>CPU has hardware level data collecting
I have seen this meme a lot lately, has anything new been discovered?
All I have seen so far is that there is a chip people don't know what does, but nobody have showed that it sends data anywhere or how it is used for spying on people.

I use Waterfox without really knowing anything about it other than it looks nice on my task bar and it's made for 64 bit shit.

I use gnu icecat
it's literally just firefox with a different name

I'm actually less worried about the government being able to levy targeted surivellance at me than I am about some random russki-chinkski taking over my insecure web browser that was programmed by retarded CS dropouts.

Nothing the MAN can get is admissable in court, and nothing I do or have is worth the time and effort of dragging me off to millitary prison. Oh no, they might see my post on /o/ admitting to doing 80 in a 30, oooooh fuuuuck nooooo, brb guacamole bay.

Now, civillians protected by the holy EULA? They don't have such a problem. It was in the privacy policy and they reserve the right to call the police with evidence of any crime if they do not like you.

>Yes, FBI? user posted multiple copyrighted files on "four chan"
>Next call
>yes, copyright holder? there's a thieving bastard out there hellbent on having you be a mere tenthousandaire instead of the millionaire you deserve to be for selecting your government-subsidized profession.

except you can't use flash

Firefox, the alt-righter's worst nightmare.

So you're saying it's better than firefox?

You know even if you use only libre software and that x86 cpu and a VPN over another VPN and tor over it you will only get into the "100% terorist" watch list of your country

Being in a botnet is safe and good, you fap to cute female penises and stalk some random girl and no one will bother you because you are just another generic number among billions

Depends. is flash a bad thing?

Yes, even adobe agrees

is it really the "alt" right when they have the fucking president?

the new alt right is religious social conservatives who can even be, get this, not racist

Autism, essentially.

Everyone agrees, the hundred exploits a month agree.

So you guys don't watch videos?

Who needs flash for videos? HTML5 is standard now. Flash is for places that haven't updated in years.

Firefox because addons and their general philosophy.

Opera has some cool features. If you have a use case for their automation, their advanced shortcuts are a joy to use.

Listen, if you are intelligent and consider things that do not immediately affect you, you have autism. What other autistic things do you do? Do you actually torrent anime illegally? Download music illegally? Fucking niche shit like that is for autists, if you were normal and not smart you would watch NFL and netflix and have more than two sexual partners

Be more like the black guys on TV and keep it real

Nothing to hide nothing to fear

Palemoon is pretty good. I can forgive the author's furryshit.

cyberfox

Chrome is the best browser, period

agreed.

Firefox Nightly seems kind of slow..

Amen, brotha

>proud of browser choice
>proud of 0.05 rupees into your bank account

Depends on each release.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it's borked, sometimes it's shit.

That's the fucking point of "nightly"

except 99% of Sup Forums think it's the apex of browsers

It is hard to know who is on a watchlist or why, it is not like these things are public knowledge, so claiming that if you use free software, you get on such a list is just speculation.

But knowingly participate in survailence just because you like to shoch whoever is watching is a bit bizare.

Yet it didn't answer the question:
Why do people claim the CPU is spying on them?

HTML5 video is just as annoying than flash.

Autoplay crap. Ads that play themselves. Open a background tab and you've started to download some shit video. Browser freezes on multiple tabs because you're decoding a load of shit you don't want.

I block both html5 video and flash now. Nearly all the issues people had with flash are similar to the issues html5 video has.

Move the exploits from the flash container/actionscript. To the browser/javascript.

In reality, the flash container is probably better. Feature wise at least.

>block both html5 and flash now
enjoy crippling yourself

Flash is features nobody wants, javascript nobody wants anyway.

His method is the second most correct.

The MOST CORRECT solution is to block javascript, flash, AND html5 video that isn't spawned by your custom written userscript that disables things outside and replaces them with a direct embedded video tag of your own making.

>this guy is spending a lot of effort and time/money to hide his actions
>add it to the watch/track list

Is not that hard, fag, if you want to be unnoticed you don't wear a trenchcoat and shades

what sites do you go to?

>not sharing your actions is hiding them now
what about people who don't do anything

I forgot about the good old SeaMonkeys. Think I'm gonna have to give it a try again now that firefucks is going to total shit.

lol

I have a magic button. If flash, I have to push it. If html5 video, I have to push it.

>Why do people claim the CPU is spying on them?
It's just a speculation but it's what your cpu is *capable* of.

you don't need to share anything, just don't forceful try to avoid generic tracking unless you want to have your life ruined in the autism court where you are forced to decrypt your furry porn or go to the jail as a child molester

Why should I use anything other than Chrome as my main browser?

Red pill me on something please, I would like something better but everything I've tried is just worse.

Firefox is a no, look at that font rendering and performance. No thank you. Maybe there's a version of it that's reasonable.

>Speculation
>Recent leaks dating back from Snowden
Choose one

true. Though I personally have a small hardon for flash. Developing in a gui based environment is fun as fuck. It's also pretty good for making cool stuff.

Eg... pixlr.com/editor/
>flash image editor

Opera is the best chrome flavor and the best browser in this age of shitty browsers

vivaldi had like 2 years and still is barebones and they keep adding pointless UI tweaks instead of actual features

Opera is pretty much the same, but doesn't have problems with scaling and smooth scrolling (I mean pixel-by-pixel scrolling) on Linux. Also looks better in my opinion (definitely fits into KDE much better than Chrome).

I dunno, I didn't write flash but it does have a cult following. Should have probly just learned SVG or something.
