you can't have privacy and a multicultural society full of people that want to kill you. it's either one or the other. UKcucks have made their choice.

>cuckold country getting cucked
Water is wet

Daily reminder terrorism is a trivial problem with a death toll so low it's functionally non-existent.

It is a crime problem, getting access to whatsapp does not fix anything.

And what about the mudskins who don't participate in any extremist activities but just increase crime and homicide rates?

>amber-rudd
I know her in real life.
Your typical spoilt daddy's-got-you-a-new-horse tory spoilt bitch

Explain why giving intelligence services access to normalfag sites is bad.

would fuck tho

Sup Forums is also a normalfag site, retard

That's because of already existing anti terrorism intelligence
Terrorism is planned and attempted possibly every single day in the UK

It's not encrypted though.

And fuck you for reminding me

>implying they will do anything even if they have the data in their hands.
>implying this would only be used to track down people who oppose vibrant diversity

We need to legislate in the UK the death penalty for anti-Semites, holocaust deniers and LGBT. Americans are allowed to express anti-Semitic views because their media and government aren't heavily influenced by Muslims.

it's not only about encryption (btw Sup Forums supports HTTPS), it's also knowing who posts what on the internet

I'm telling you.
If you saw that cow IRL.
Mod's'll ban me like the little sub bitch squealers they are 4 posting that!

nice b8 m8

Did you know AA Gill?

>"terrorists hate us for our freedom so we you need to give up your freedom to beat the terrorists"

Hasn't this song gotten old after all the play its gotten since 9/11?

Why do they act like they don't already see and know every whatsapp message they want?

Never knew him
Hardly knew Rudd DESU

cause there'd be a 0,000000000001% chance of the goyim rebelling if they found out

Why would they say openly what needed leaks to come out?

This isn't about stopping "terrorists" either. It's about stopping genuine dissidents, whistle-blowers, and journalists.

It's about legitimizing it, it's a step-by-step process.

>The Guardian

...

Terrorism isn't about death tolls it's about fear, that is why it is called terrorism.

UK is genuinely fucked, are the other countries any better?

You stupid idiot. Your parents were related before they married. You are clearly forgetting the death count from 9/11. Stay out of these threads: your betters are conversing.

>Canada
No

>Australia
Very no

>New Zealand
Maybe?

>America
Yes in some ways (at least you have a Constitution that bans this shit, even if the government ignores it)

No. All western countries are as bad as each other, if someone says they're not then their government just hasn't been found out yet.

Always remember that just because it's against the law wont stop the spooks from doing it.

Yes, good work. Spying on whatsapp leaves the Bad Guys with no way to communicate at all. You've stopped them dead in their tracks.

Do politicians really believe the shit they say? Are they so fucking illiterate they don't understand the mere abstract concepts behind tech and how things relate to each other?

If she can pass legislation to get a backdoor in WhatsApp, what's keeping her from applying it to the all the other messaging apps? Since law is built on top of each previous case, she just has to copy paste the same procedure and use the WhatsApp case a justification. Imo, what she is saying is "It's just for this one case" just like with the Apple and FBI Iphone case.

...

Is giving in and implementing oppressive snooping on your own population not a manifestation of the fear it's trying to cause? Isn't spying essentially letting them win?

Is there any evidence of this? Of these people getting arrested, tried and convicted? (In large enough numbers to make this a cost effective way of saving lives mind you).

lol.
9/11 is an outlier of incredible proportions that is still outweighed by say, a single year of industrial accidents just in the US. There has never been a single terrorist attack that even comes close in the entire world, let alone in the west.

US does it but they can't legally use it to prosecute you and it's illegal for the gov to do it. So eh... it's better but still shit

The UK is pretty uniquely awful for it. Snowden described them as doing things the NSA could only dream of (full collection of every single byte that passes through the UK), they have mandatory key disclosure, which the US doesn't really have (it's a little bit more complicated than this, but it appears to be protected by provisions against self incrimination) and they're now moving towards mandatory data retention.
No matter where you are you'll probably be being spied on, at least by the Americans, but you could hardly find a worse place than the UK.

Not sure about everyday, but yes they are stopped at least once a month

The issue is that they have a potential not just to kill large amounts of people, but also bring down vital infrastructure. Aside from that, it can also create mass panic which could cause further problems, and even create a diversion for more terrorists to commit more acts. Its a domino effect, theres a huge difference between a stabbing which kills 2 people and a terrorist attack which kills 2 people.

accurate

The English law system also has protects against self-incrimination, but most people don't really know anything to do with our Common Law or Bill of Rights (we actually DO have the right to bear arms, whodathunkit?). Of course this suits governments like this just fine.

While it's pretty bad here, the US has to take the blame for being the manufacturer of all this backdoor-ready hardware.

Did this latest terrorist use whatsapp or something? Exactly how did this occur to Amber?

t. leftard

no one saw this coming!

In terms of free expression the US ranks highest, followed by Canada, then the UK, then New Zealand, then Australia. You may think UK would be the worst here but they do not ban fictional media as often. Canada and the US do not ban fictional media at all.

In terms of internet laws as they relate to privacy Canada ranks the highest, then New Zealand, then America, then Australia, then the UK which is abysmal.

In terms of whistle blower protection New Zealand ranks the highest, then everywhere else is dogshit.
