If not then you should probably learn to.
If you are then yes, practicing will probably give you the biggest boost. Having a good keyboard with keys that are easy to press also helps.

I'm relatively familiar with a keyboard's placement but I always wind up looking down at the keys so I guess I'll need to work on that.

I got 115, which is surprising for me because I have a very bad typing style (using index fingers for everything central to the keyboard, other fingers only touch shift/space/etc)
