Is atom still unable to find-replace a character in a file with 1 million lines?

ed

acme

They fell for the fountain pen meme and want to get their money's worth

why would you ever have a million lines?

it's just slightly inconvenient.
You don't have a home directory with your vimrc. The typical windows setup makes finding files in general a bit harder compared to unix-like systems.
You don't have a terminal, so you can't jump in and out of vim with ctrl-z and "fg" (ctrl-z just minimizes the gui).
Using plugins written in Ruby, Lua, etc. requires some setup until vim finds the right dll.

you can't shill vim without posting your vimrc

Logs, data analysis,cvs databases.

Holy fuck some of those comments are retarded, these people are CIA contractors?

i wish this person would leave the internet forever.

There is a frontender in my office who got Brackets reloaded by pressing Ctrl+F5. We laughed for like an hour.

Far Manager.

my fucking nigga

godtier taste

Looks like a generic keyboard that should just work with modern Linux. If it doesn't you could try some of the solutions from the Ubuntu forum just look up "MX5500 Linux".

>can't beat sublime when it comes to lightweight and speed

And Vim wizardry can btfo every single editors.

>atom

I love atom

He said lightweight user, Kate does have good features but I'm not sure it's worth installing all the KDE dependencies for it

It's pretty light, if you already use KDE.

...

Theres only 2 kinds of text editors in this world.
