Aqua was so good looking, why did they trash it?
Did OS X look better then?

because it looks like a highschooler just discovered the bevel/emboss tool in photoshop and thought it would be rad to plaster that ugly shit all over the place
looks traight out of 2004
10.3 looks the best. If it didn't have the hideous brushed metal it'd be perfect
2001 actually
so ahead of it's time!
Leopard was best and most influential
This is the aesthetic that comes to my mind when I think of the 2000's.
I think 10.8 was the best combination of looks and functionality. 10.9 started to get that ugly flat shit on some of the UI and 10.7 wasn't as feature-rich. I might reinstall it on my 2011 MBP because of the speed and battery life I would get.
Fug! Forgot pic.
has macOS always been the most aesthetically pleasing OS, from inception to now?
>dat shitty brushed metal and grey everywhere

No. Yosemite and up look like gay garbage.
>t. doesn't know what brushed metal is
The dock and the logo in your 10.8 shot have it everywhere
Yosemite is easily the most aesthetic OS X version. Everything else ranges from mediocre to trash.
Look at iTunes in the OP, that's brushed metal.
>t. no fucking clue what brushed metal is
Only if you're a 12 year old homosexual
Literally, that was the style at the time.
Aqua was my favorite theme.
Remember, back when this was out we had Winlel XP's shitty Fisher Price UI.
And we were at war with Iraq killing innocent children.
